What is the purpose of the white ties on the underside of the Dino’s neck?

Hold them in place, cut them off before use

Do I cut off and remove the string under their head/neck?

I bought this game last year and I pretty sure the string holds the head on to the body.

What type of plastic is this made of? Does any part of the game lead? I have seen lead warnings on hungry hippo games by other brands. Thanks!

Can you buy yellow replacement balls? All the replacement balls I can I find are mostly red or multiple colors
