American Standard 4188A004.020 Cadet Pro Toilet Tank, White, 3

I installed this tank about week ago and works better than expected. My old Home Depot Glacier Bay toilet that I've had for years tank wouldn't stop leaking water into the bowl no matter how many times I replaced the flapper. I'm on a well so there is always some sediment which will build up in the tank hence replacing the flapper every so often. But this time a new flapper wouldn't solve the problem. I even put a rubber seal on the flapper seat valve. Didn't know why it wouldn't stop leaking. Didn't want to replace the entire toilet just to fix the problem if I could just find a replacement1.6 gal. tank that would fit a glacier bay. I stumbled across this American Std that seemed to fit the bill. The first one I ordered was never delivered. Got a refund and ordered it again. The second one was delivered as expected. The outer box was pretty banged up when delivery driver brought it out. Good thing I was home to open it while he was there. The inner box containing the tank seemed well protected and undamaged. I continue to open it as well to expect the tank for damage. I saw no visible damage to the tank. I thanked driver who w very courteous and said to contact them if found any problem later. The next day I installed the tank hoping it fit my old toilet bowl that was a 2 hole mount set up. Except for the tank -bowl seal that wouldn't fit my bowl everything went perfectly. I used my old seal instead. Everything was pre -assembled. Just attached the tank and reconnected water supply line. I did have to adjust the water level but that was expected. No More hearing that toilet refill every 15 mins. It's a good looking tank and I'm happy with purchase. No complaints so far.

Did two repairs in my house (previous owner was a tad rough) and both work great and look great.I am not a plumber but took my time and found it easy to do.

I went to Home Depot because the website said it was available. Got there! Home Depot said it had to be ordered. Amazon had it for cheaper and it was delivered fast. Works perfectly.

Item did not fit standard to the fittings of the bottom piece.

I appreciate you selling used tanks but a pic of the bottem with dimensions to water in from side bolt would be really helpful… , was really tight fitting but it did fit , comes with everything new seal and bolts good price including shipping I am still a happy customer at the end of the day thanks again

I didn’t even know you could get a toilet without a Line tank anymore. I haven’t seen one in over 20 years . Seriously what good is a toilet tank that is not line it’s just gonna sweat drip water all over the floor.
