I’m very pleased with this dressmaker dummy. For the most part, it was easy to put together and adjust to my measurements. I had a little trouble getting the waist to lengthen, but it just takes patience and strong hands to steady the extension while lining up the teeth before snapping into place. I’m looking forward to making a lot of dresses and trying out the hem tool.

I have wanted a dress form for over 30 years. I finally convinced my husband to buy me this for Christmas. I was able to adjust it almost perfectly to my measurements. I could use a little extra padding for the bus line, but otherwise the shoulders, back, waist and hips are pretty close to perfect. It’s lightweight and a little wiggly, but otherwise reasonably sturdy if you’re careful. The body of it lifts off the stand very easily. The hem measuring piece was a nuisance, so I took it off and threw it away. The important part is that I could get the measurements to match my body because that’s why you have a dress form.

I bought an adjustable mannequin because regular mannequins are a lot thinner than I am. I needed one for cosplay and it works well for mu needs. I was able to adjust it to my size. My hips are 44 inches and the large is just enough to get it to that size. The only thin worth noting, is that you can't pin anything to it. It has a hard plastic interior. That's the only draw back with this mannequin. I would still recommend it

Easy to attach, not heavy, can adjust for your size. Works well to fit the need for sewing for yourself or others. May seem like cost a lot; but it was worth it since it it working very well.

These product is awesome and a must for seamstress type people. The condition is impeccable and the mannikin is made quite sturdy and sound. I was very pleased at the ease of use and ability to pin fabric and items to the mannequin.

A life-saver for garment construction. I uesd this dress form to aid in costume construction. As the play characters were not always available for fitings, the dress form was invaluable in helping make measurment adjustments. I have been sewing for over 50 years and never thought I had need of a dress form, until just recently. Took a little bit of practice to use the adjustment dials, but got the hang of it easily.

I can't be mad. This dress form was insanely easy to assemble and is very light weight. It has a ton of knobs for adjusting, including torso lengthening. That being said the body material is pretty thin, so you're going to have some issues pinning unless you go in at an angle. The base is also all plastic, so be careful you don't damage them because it will not stand with only three legs. The knobs feel very sturdy and they lock in. You have to pinch the button to make them turn. I down graded maneuverability because the rod for the base does not snap into the body. So if you want to move it, you have to take it apart or try and balance it on the pole as you lift. I was able to grab this on sale, and I am content with the price I paid for the quality of the item.

This arrived yesterday and I was really excited to put it together. Thank god my boyfriend was here because despite kickboxing, I didn't have the strength to force the feet for the stand into the base. It's made out of plastic, and the base seemed to be squished out of size of the feet. The stand for the torso went together well, but the directions for lengthening the torso were not accurate. There is no red tooth on the mechanism. I eventually figured out I need to push the interior of the locking mechanism up and then twist to the left to set the torso in place. However because these are spring loaded, it's not really even all the way around. There's a quarter inch difference from the front to the back of the lengthened torso. Not the end of the world, but not awesome. The dials to widen work great. But like other reviewers said, it's overall a little flimsy and it leans forward. I'm going to make it work, but I wouldn't buy this product again.
