I have been using this Steelbird SBH-17 Terminator helmet for more than 4 years now. It has some great qualities, but also some major flaws you should know about before buying. The Good: Style & Comfort: It looks damn good to wear. The matte finish and graphics are very stylish, and it has a really nice, comfortable feel on the head. Easy Maintenance: The inner lining is completely detachable, which makes it very easy to wash, clean, and reuse. The Bad / Things to Keep in Mind: Poor Air Flow & Noise: Because it is not a premium helmet, the aerodynamics are lacking. If you ride at higher speeds, the wind noise is terrible and will get your ears ringing. Useless in the Rain: Do not use this when it is raining! Water seeps right in, and you will get completely drained and soaked. Visor Issues: Removing and reattaching the visor glass is surprisingly tricky and frustrating. Scratch Prone: The visor scratches very easily, and those visible scratches can seriously damage your line of sight over time. Verdict: It is a stylish and comfortable helmet for slow, dry city commutes, but avoid it if you ride at high speeds or in the rain.

1used it for 2-3 yrs,nyc one..2 visors available...but darkone not helpful for nighttime drive. But amazing one,button helpful for opening and easy to close also..easy to clean. Loved it

Very disappointing seller. Don't buy from this seller. He send me the product which visor is not properly fitted..can be seen in pics. He sold me a useless product on prepaid. I initiated replacement, it have been 3 days...but he did not initiate the process for replacement.

Overall helmet is good but I have received skretches product I think its a used product or defective and ordered xl size but its seems like large size. If somebody ordered this product plz endure to choose one more size for comfort.

The helmet was sent with a clear visor, and blue one as an add-on. The inbuilt visor kept opening up, despite any amount of force used to close it. Edit: Initially, when the package was sent, it was in the original box of the helmet, and the box was visibly old, which might be the reason why I got a defective piece. The replacement helmet arrived in a bigger box, and it was sealed very well. The new helmet is fine, and works well, but I still feel that the quality of visor's locking mechanism to be very flimsy. The tolerance with which the plastic locking mechanism is made, makes me think that it can malfunction in case the helmet falls down on the floor for a couple of times. Needless to say, the replacement helmet hit a table's corner from my hand, and since then it takes considerably more force to close the visor properly. I think it's a product design issue, and Steelbird should look into it.

Material is good. Padding is comfortable enough according to price. It protects us from the heat. Condition is good we can wash the padding after using. But the visor locking is not good. It takes an effort to lock. Other than that overall it is a good product as it is versatile in nature. The helmet is heavy around the head and we can choose the visor according to our choice. There is two type of visor fully black and transparent and the quality is good but there can be scratches if you are not careful. So overall the helmet is stylish enough and it can match with any dress code.
