What's in Your Tummy Mummy?

fun book!
I got this when I got pregnant as a fun way to introduce the pregnancy concept to my 18m old. He loves it, and loves lifting the flaps to see each animal the child guesses is in his mom's tummy. At the end is an elaborate pop up that show mom and son with the new baby. Sadly, this was almost too fun, because he wanted to pull the baby out of the mom's arms from day 1, and the last page pop-up was shredded within a week. All it took was him getting ahold of it without supervision once! So for those with not-so-gentle readers, that's something to take into account. Also, I would have liked if it showed even just one drawing of the baby actually IN the mom's tummy. It showed a horse, chimp, octopuss, etc. But the baby is only shown once it's come out and is in mom's arms. Still, its a very cute book!

This book was awesome until the end when they NEVER show an actual baby under one of the flaps. They just show a baby in mommy's arms.

English and Foreign writing ??
I was wondering if someone could get in contact with me about the book I purchased. My daughter absolutely loves the book and the pop up parts, however most of the pop up bits are in a different language to the rest of the book and I’m not sure why as it wasn’t advertised like this and I don’t understand what it’s saying.

Cute book, bit confusing for a toddler.
Cute concept with with flaps & pictures but a little confusing for a 20month old as had been telling him there’s a baby in mummy’s tummy but this book didn’t show that at all, visually there’s only creatures in mummy’s tummy!? I had to make up my own story & emphasize strongly that’s there’s a baby in there - not a dinosaur. There’s no pics of a baby in mummy’s tummy & then all of a sudden the baby just appears in mummy’s arms. It’s a nice fun book but not what you’d use to explain what’s in mummy’s tummy.

Fun for older babies but won't help little ones understand
This book is cuteband silly and my year old loved lifting up the flaps to see what could be in mammys tummy. It would have been nice to see a baby in mammys tummy after seeing a flea, an octopus, a horse, a dinosaur. Baby is in mammys arms in the end. In was a hit with my little boy but he understands theirs a baby in mammys tummy. Don't think it would help younger kids understand

I should have read the reviews!
Kicking myself that I didn't read the reviews first and I just impulse bought this book for my toddler..It's a nice book, but isn't helpful when trying to explain the idea of a new baby coming! If anything I don't want to read this to my son incase it confuses him more!
