I don't want the small to fit too tightly? Your thoughts??** A: We got the small for our Malti-tzu who is 14lbs and 17in. girth and it fits him with a little room to spare (has adjustable straps) and we got the medium for our pug who is 23lbs and 25in girth. The medium is really too long for him but because of his thick broad chest & neck we had to get a larger size (he is only 15in from his neck to tail the malti-tzu is 17). The life jacket does have a neoprene belly band that is made to fit a little snug, but does not seem uncomfortable to the dogs (it has a small margin of adjustment to it). It's a very well made life jacket and you can't beat this price anywhere. Your dogs' girth is so close to the max for the small it could probably fit a medium but keep in mind that it would be long and maybe even a little loose. However, if your dog keeps a summer haircut the small may be just fine. Hope this helped you. **Q: Is there any place to attach a leash?** A: No hook ups for a leash. We attached a big carabineer to the handles or looped the leash around the handles and attached it back to itself. **Q: Does this have a metal ring to connect a leash or can a harness be used underneath and still able to be clipped to a leash?** A: Hi this life jacket doesn't ha Metal ring to connect. Collar might attach it to the leash, not harness. Thank you! **Q: I have a 40 lb American Bully. What size would you recommend?** A: Sizes:XSmall: 9.25"L x 11"W x 5.25"HDogs with 15" max chest; 5-15lbsSmall: 10"L x 13.25"W x 3.5"HDogs with 26" max chest; 15-30lbsMedium: 12"L x 16.5"W x 3"HDogs with 31" max chest; 30-55lbsLarge: 13"L x 18"W x 3.5"HDogs with 36" max chest; 55-85lbsXLarge: 14"L x 22"W x 3.5"HDogs with 41" max chest; 85-100lbs ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Calidad precio, excelente! *by A***Z on 28 July 2026* De entrada, excelente producto. God kvalite på produkten. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good fit, stays in place, offers peace of mind *by P***S on 4 July 2024* Ordered a size large for my Husky x Malamute, who weighs about 33kg. Fairly good quality but I did notice one of the straps was hard to tighten up as it kept coming loose when adjusting it. The front velcro flap could have been longer, but the underside velcro flap was perfect and offered lots of adjustability. Size was spot on, could have been a little longer in the back but provided extra buoyancy when she was swimming. The colour is also bright making her easier to spot in the water. She had no issues running around or swimming in it, and didn't show any discomfort whilst wearing it. Overall very happy with how quickly it was delivered and found it reasonable value for money. ## Frequently Bought Together - Outward Hound Granby Splash Dog Life Jacket, High-Buoyancy Dog Life Vest for Swimming, Boating, and Water Safety, Large, Orange - Vivifying 20FT Floating Long Dog Training Leash, Lightweight Check Cord Rope with Comfortable Handle for Outside, Hiking, Swimming, Beach and Lake - Chuckit!
