just purchased and hooked up today - video comes through from dvd player, but not audio - its connected properly - what is likely problem/solution?

This could possibly be caused by the settings in your DVD Player. It is possible your DVD Play could have the audio set to output through 5.1 Optical Dolby Digital and not Stereo through the A/V output. Maybe try to change the settings and see if it resolves the issue. I hope this works.

استخدمته لعرض أشرطة VHS مع تلفزيون LG SMAET. تظهر شاشة زرقاء باستمرار مع تقطع في العرض. علماً آن العرض ممتاز مع التلفزيون القديم. لا أنصح بشرائه لهذا. النوع من الاستخدام بناء على تجربتي. ربما يفيد في استخدامات أخرى لا أعلم حقيقة. اضطر لشراء نوع آخر حتى أتخاص من هذه المشكلة.
