This is a decent lantern for the price. The brightness of the light was impressive, however, the quality of the lantern was not. It clearly seems to be made of cheap plastic (from China, of course!). It has nice options for charging with the small solar panel on top or the included charging cable which is plugged in a standard outlet. You can also use regular alkaline batteries as another option. Since this lantern is not sturdy or made of good, quality materials, only time will tell how long it will last.

These are a wonderful item to have for an emergency kit. I was fortunate enough to get these before hurricane Irma and they made all the difference when we didn't have power for nearly a week. I love that they have solar charging capabilities - a feature you need when power is out. I ordered a few more to send to Puerto Rico for hurricane relief.

Just received. The light is bright. Very bright. Too bright to use as a handheld lantern I think. But to light an area light a campsite, or a garage, this could work. I'll keep it for emergency use.

I just got this today, so this is a preliminary review. The lantern is small and lightweight. The construction looks sturdy. The light was very bright even in full daylight. I still need to try out the solar charger and the usb device charger, and I will update when I see how well they work and how long the charge lasts.

You get what you pay for. This light is pretty cheap quality, has a bright LED light.

Cheap. Doesn't hold charge over 5-6 hours. Switches malfunction

This came already charged!! I put it in the window to get ready for our next power outage. It should be a great help. Its compact size makes storing it very easy, and I can charge it quickly with the cord if I forget to recharge after use.
