This is not my first red Kong. The border collie I had for 10 yrs chewed on his for over 5 yrs before I had to replace it. My 9 yr old rescued multipoo has never shown an interest in chewing on anything other than her treats since I got her 3 yrs ago. However, when we bought the large black Kong for our new rescused boy, an 18 mo old Lab mix, Precious decided to chew on it instead. I jumped on Amazon and ordered the smaller version for her. When it arrived the next day, I realized that I had ordered two. She won't use hers yet, but he loves both. These are nearly indestructible and well worth buying. The seller did a great job of staying on the one day delivery as promised.

To be fair, this was labeled as a toy for “average chewers”. My lab destroyed in about 30 minutes.
