Q: Is there a manufacturer's warrantee?

I don't know but mine broke off at the cuff on the vacuum head. Just ordered & paid for a cuff from amazon. I had only used it 2-3 times.

Q: Is the diameter reported for the inside of the cuff or the outside of the cuff?

The inside diameter for the actual hose is 1 1/2". The inside diameter of the white cuff is 1 9/16" at the edge. It looks to gradually taper from the 1 9/16" to approx 1 1/2" about 3/8" from the edge of the cuff. Outside diameter of the cuff looks to be approx. 1 5/8"

Q: Is this hose for in above ground pools?

I bought for an in-ground pool but I'm sure it doesn't matter as long as everything connects. I did watch a video that said you should fill the hose completely with water before connecting it because the air can cause issues with the pump. Not sure if that helps.

Q: I bought the 1 1/2" but the end for skimmer doesn't fit snugly. Is there a 1 1/2 to 1 1/4 adapter I can use for the skimmer?

Pool suppliers like Leslie's has adapters for skimmers, etc.
