DIY Wooden Dollhouse Miniature Kit Wood house Toy & LED Light with All Furnitures Car by Youku

The package contains about 300 or more parts for a very long DIY experience in building miniatures. If completed, it is supposed to yield a small highly detailed house suitable only for display. The package did not include any glue, so I used instant glue and hot glue where required. I also greatly simplified the construction to eliminate most the unassembled miniature furniture, all the decorative paper, and the cloth/ribbon fancy stuff. Instead i used some acrylic art paints to cover unfinished areas. The package comes with LED lights, but I did some rearrangement of the lighting and drilled some holes to accommodate the changes (lights at each door and room). I made three simple chandeliers using the larger clear plastic "flowers" and a plastic "thimble" and some hot glue. I also hot glued single smaller "flowers" and some clear beads over the wall-mounted LEDs where needed. The switch on the battery holder didn't stay on except when continually pressed. Also the hinge for the battery door did not come with the 4 tiny screws required, but I had some on-hand from a previous project. My twin 4-year old granddaughters love it, but now want some small dolls sized to fit the dollhouse. If I had to do it again, I'd get a larger dollhouse that would be easier to put together and some preassembled furniture.

I enjoyed putting this together. I was surprised when I opened the box and everything had to be made from scratch even the coffee mug handle! LOL! all they send you are a bunch of pieces. So it was intimidating at first, but once you actually fix your mind to start working on it, you wont be able to put it down! It took me about 2 weeks as I worked on it more on some days than other days. But when you see the pieces and material that they send you, you would be surprised at how these realistic things are made. like for instance the tea kettle on the stove is actually made of a 10mm round bead and the lid is a bead cap! LOL but this project will definitely open up your creative mind and proves that you can create anything from anything! Definitely worth the price. Im very proud of it. Planning to get all of the houses from this brand eventually.

This is a very cute little house that our whole family is working on together. It is our first attempt at a house, and it is far from perfect, but that is okay as our daughter is more interested in playing with the house rather than it sitting in a case. The process of making it has put a whole different perspective on having a cute little house, and right now it is more about - I want to make a pillow, or I want to make a piano, rather than - is it done yet. Many reviews said the glue wasn't included, but ours had glue in it, as well as every little piece as described in the booklet. The instructions are pretty clear, even though some need a little puzzling over, but that it likely our being new to crafting a house. We are enjoying it so far!

This is a challenge to put together. I’ve had to watch numerous videos on YouTube and I can’t find anywhere in the directions how to specifically wire the house. It’s frustrating. Emailed the person who sold me the kit because they said they could send me a video of how to put it together. When I finally emailed them they said the file was to large to send. So there you go. You’re on your own besides the videos you can find on YouTube. They help. Better than the directions which are a scattered English.

My daughter is very happy putting this together.

I haven't finished building this yet, I got lazy. But I really like it, the directions are fairly easy to follow in my opinion. If there was anything I was unsure of I was actually able to look up youtube videos of others building this same house so I could get a better idea

Received dollhouse and went thru the contents. Looks great. Haven't put it together yet.

Its just a pain building this, reason why i did not give 5 stars.
