it's a really great strip, the separate white led is def worth it and gets pretty bright. The remote is only an ir remote but using the app on your phone is really easy with alot of functionality

Bought two, one controller blew up within a week. added an amplifier and the amplified section is 10% brighter than the source. The other irritation is that when you change colors they colors come on full brightness, and then have to be dimmed again!

ive just received the lights today. and its one of the worst item i've ever see before, all then plastic wrap is all open and it look like it has been use and rip up. 1 of the 5 pin is broken off. i received 1 light strips instead of 2 light strips, and no power adaptor and the box is all beat up. what is wrong with this seller. i am totally disgusted.

App works just fine and they work with Alexa, but the remotes do not work. I have tried 4 different sets and none of the remotes work. Tried new batteries and they still do not work.

The backing was peeled off the item came in a bag and the adhesive has hair stuck to it as illustrated in the picture above. Disgusting!!

Had a couple segments that were bad. One controller out of 8 that didn’t work. But lights works nice. Good app to control them.

Great for under/over cabinet lighting & DANCE PARTIES. We got these for our new kitchen refacing project. I really wanted indirect under and over cabinet lighting - we have a great room style setup so the kitchen is visible from our whole floor and extra indirect lighting would really enhance the ambiance at night of the whole great room. Since we are only refacing - not a full renovation extra electrical work to get lighting and switches was just not in the budget. After an exhaustive research and trial/error effort we found these and LOVE them. They were easy to install and can be controlled by a remote, button on near the plug, your phone or an Alexa (if you have one - we do not as I don't want any extra pancake mix added by Jimmy Kimmel :)) Anyways - since our kitchen is in the middle of our great room it is soooo fun to have the lights synced with the music. Our girls (11 & 9) get some pretty raging dance parties going now. I bought several sets (6 in total) to fit all of our diff cabinet levels and also our valance window toppers in the living room area. One remote or the phone will control them all!!! It is a great, easy and extremely inexpensive option to get custom lighting in your house.One thing to be aware of tho - these are ACCENT lighting - not to be confused with task lighting. The LEDs are pretty bright but maybe not bright enough to be cooking at 5 course meal at night using only them as your light source but for making coffee or scooping ice cream & dance parties they are perfect.
