Review: Haven't broken yet - Used with lumber mill work, hasn't ripped open like the other gloves so far. Review: From a hard-working woman: Stacking wood - No problem! - These are now my favorite gloves and I'll be buying more when they finally wear out... Which they haven't started to do yet! We stacked and bundled about ten cord of firewood last season, and I bought these about halfway through when my other "name brand" rugged gloves got holes worn through the fingers. Firewood wears out gloves fast! However, these lasted through the season and look like I haven't worn them yet! I use them every day putting wood into our own outdoor wood boiler as well. Only negative: They are not insulated, so in winter, my hands get cold fast. Positives: Durability through the roof! Also, I have small hands and it's really hard to get WORKING gloves that are both rugged and fit me well. You don't want long fingers when you're tying up bundles of firewood. These fit great and they have some features I love: The backs breathe, so you don't sweat, they have adjustable wrists to prevent them from slipping off, and they went so far as to reinforce the front of the wrist where you grab them to pull them on. There's a small plastic ridge there so you can easily grab the cuff to pull one on even when the other glove is already on. Great design! Update April 2020: After a LOT of wood stacking, firewood bundling for our store, and moving logs and large rocks, these are only now wearing out. I've lost a couple of the pads on the front and the stitching thread is now catching my fingers when I put them on. Still, these have been the best-wearing gloves I have ever owned. I'm still using them for pulling wire fencing while we're building a chicken run and for moving rocks and wood, but I would no longer be able to use them when pulling raspberry bushes, so I'm now ordering a second pair. Considering every other brand lasted me barely 6 months, these are incredible.
