Been using this for 30 years now. It is fabulous and makes your hair shiny too. Good hold, little buildup, no flaking even when reapplied over a period of days. My most recent bottle did seem to go faster - I don't know why, just hope it's not due to manufacturer dilution. Excellent gel, I use it when I let my hair go curly and when I want to pull it back in a chignon.

I''ve been using this product for many years. I have baby-fine hair and when cut into a pixie style, this product really gives me the fullness I need. I am sensitive to synthetic fragrances, which is a deal breaker for most hair products. Aveda's fragrances are all plant-based and darned wonderful! The scent does not linger after it dries.

This product has been the only one that helps me style and have great body!

I have thin fine hair that is prone to looking greasy and getting weighed down with products. But this always looks great and hold my curls/waves super well!

I use it right after I shampoo I air dry may hair and it holds very well for several days.

My natural curly hair hates all gels. But I needed a gel. After trying a million of them, this one works!! It's the only gel that doesn't dry my hair out and make it look and feel like straw. Doesn't smell that good but the smell goes away after 10 minutes or so. I also don't need much - maybe the size of a nickel, so even though it's a bit pricey, the bottle lasts a long time.

I've been using Aveda for over 20 years. I love their products but hate searching for salons that sells it. I usually buy directly from their website but just happened to google and found it on amazon. I was excited to find it is a little less expensive and with prime there was no shipping. A little of this gel goes a long way, I have thick, curly hair and use a leave in conditioner and the flax seed gel. I recently tried a few different gels and was not getting the same result so I went back to using ole faithful. It locks in my curls without looking crunchy, hard and stiff. Again, a small amount goes a long way, I will have this bottle for a year plus...

I stoped using hair spray since I found this product. It holds my hair really well. It's also easier to buy it on Amazon than Aveda's website since No min purchase for free shipping (thanks to Amazon Prime!). And the price is just about the same as Aveda's store. The product' doesn't smell bad at all. I really don't like the smell of Aveda's Be Curly so I am glad this gel doesn't have the same stinky smell. If you are looking for a hard hold gel, I recommend this product.
