Spacesaver Vacuum Storage Bags for Clothes with Hand Pump, Jumbo, 4 Pack

Excellent storage bags, Ive bought other brands previously and they are thin and don't last very long before they re inflate. These are good quality strong bags and do the job theyre designed to do! Will be buying the jumbo ones for duvets when back in stock

These bags are really, really good. I have only used 2 so far, one for clothes just to test it, and the other to store a thick, duck down kingsize duvet. The duvet was a struggle to fit in the bag but once it was in, the little zipper thing to seal it was really easy to use and fast. The vent on the bag has a one way valve so you don't have to worry about air getting back in to it once you have vacuumed it out. When using the pump, it screws in place making a brilliant seal. I started to use the included pump which it was clear would take absolutely hours to get all the air out. I didn't want to get the hoover out as one of the main reasons to buy this is to use at the caravan where we don't take the hoover. I had the brain wave of unsealing the bag to squeeze some air out. It did occur to me that i might break the bag using this method but then I remembered the '100% money back guarantee' in the description. So I opened up the side of the seal. There are 2 seal strips which both work really well, after opening an inch or so I was worried that the seals might split open along the seam but with most of my 16 stone weight on the bag pushing the air out of the little split I had made I am happy to say the seals didn't open any more and the bag showed no signs of splitting. They really are made very well. Once I was sure I had as much air out as I could, I resealed the top and set about attaching the pump again, but again, got sick of using it. The pump is just too small, but its free so i am not marking it down. I got out the hoover... well... dyson and noticed there is a little thumb button on the end of my hoover tube to attach accessories to so I could not get a perfect seal on the bag vent thing, however this was not too much a problem as it was still working very effectively. I got as much air out as I could then fitted the pump on again to get the last out and it was clear when there was little air left in the bag. The pump got stiff to use. I would definately recommend this product.

Really good vacuum bags. They seem very solid and well made. They compress really well and they've stayed compressed since they were filled.

I received this product well packed and on time, just over a week ago as I required these storage bags to pack up items of bedding, towels and a duvet etc that we used in our caravan as I was starting to pack it up for the winter months, my first mistake was although it described it as a large bag it could not contain a double size duvet, and it also struggled to hold two pillows, therefore I am know going to have to purchase bags of a jumbo size. Out of the 5 bags that are in the package one of those keeps inflating, I have tried unsealing and resealing on 2 to 3 occasions but with no luck, I consider there must be an irritating leak either in the bag or the sealing strip as it is not doing what it supposed to do. More on the positive side I have found the bags themselves quite sturdy, I have found the hand pump could be useful on occasions and I also liked the idea of the plastic zippers, it dose make life a little easier. My reason to purchase space saver as I did like the quote on a life time guarantee, as I have heard from other people over time that these sort of bags are not always successful, so to make a statement of that nature I considered them to be of high quality. But I think I will just have to live with this one and hope my next set of bags will be more successful.

J'ai acheté ces sacs de grandes taille pour ranger des couettes et du linge qui ne sert pas souvent. Les grandes ouvertures sont pratiques pour ranger les articles, le petit curseur permet de zipper facilement la fermeture et le vide se fait rapidement avec un aspirateur. Je n'ai pas utilisé la pompe manuelle mais je suppose qu'elle est aussi efficace. * L'objectif est atteint : je gagne une place considérable avec mes couettes sous vide et elles sont bien protégées. Au bout de quelques jours je ne constate pas de faille dans l’étanchéité (comme lors d'un ancien achat) ; reste à voir dans le temps mais pour l'instant c'est parfait.

As you can see after reading my review i use these bags for everything lol. 5 of our bags have taken a bit of a beating and they are being replaced at no cost. Update 2/19/2019 We have been on 3 cruises and over 35 flights ( I travel a lot for work) since my last review. I wish there was a way to add just one more star Almost 2 years later 4 of my bags have broken and I would still add an extra star because they have exceeded my expectations. Not only do I travel a ton I started using the bags in different ways. If one of your bags is getting "ratty" so to speak you can use it for shoes. YES shoes put your heels or sneakers in grocery bags then organize/vacuum . This has been a game changer for us because well my wife wants to fly with every shoe she can but always fears them being damaged. Cruise-update As you may or may not know everything you pack in these bags gets wrinkled beyond belief so we hang everything in the shower and let the steam work for us. Pillows- If you dont like using them where you travel the bags do wonders for packing one or even 2 easily for a trip Moving - Be creative - I only wish I had these every time Ive moved you can literally pack your entire closet. No more boxing a few items at a time Dress clothes- If you have suites or dresses fold them ( if you don't already know learn how to fold a suit jacket -youtube) then place everything that is nice in one bag **do not vacuum** let just enough air out so theres a kind of air cushion. You can thank me later !! Lol Travelling from warm to freezing environment- stuff your goose down jacket in the smallest bag and throw it in a carry on. And finally hiking/camping / kayaking - we are outdoor people and I use the vacuum bags for every situation. If you canoe or kayak you've been missing out they keep everything organized but also "dry" . When camping and hiking I've used these to keep clothes dry and small enough in my pack along with shrinking my sleeping bag and keeping it from the elements. Ok that was a complete brain dump - I hope this helps even 1 person -------------------------------------- save tons of space. we travel a lot and these are amazing. If your a cruiser like us these bags are perfect. **tip** 1. the hand pump is ok but tiring to use. the vacuum method is the way to go. with that said when your leaving from your cruise just grab the vacuum form house keeping they are always around. Re-pack your belongings and your good to go. 2. if you like to buy liquor when your travelling and you don't have a fancy bag to put the bottle in. these bags are small and can fit anywhere when not filled up. toss a bottle in that's wrapped in a couple shirts or a towel. Something that wouldn't be ruined if the bottle did break. Do the old hand pump method "I don't suggest vacuuming this" and now your bottle is fly ready. This has worked for me several times!! Good Luck!! oh ya and the company is awesome if the bags don't work out they will work with you on return or replacement.
