FortessaLucca Faceted 18/10 Stainless Steel Flatware, 20 Piece Place Setting, Service for 4

I bought two 20 piece boxes of the Lucca Faceted from a retail store. It is very beautiful but very spendy for flatware. I then thought to check Amazon and was surprised to find it and at a better price! I opted to try the "used" for additional savings, thinking it would just be the box that wasn't in perfect condition and that didn't matter to me. I ordered one 20 piece setting and checked each piece carefully and compared it to the set from the retail store. I found a couple of flaws: a scratch or two, and a rusty looking discoloration on a few pieces. Also, each piece from the retail store has a tiny stamp on it, on the front of the fork. The set from Amazon doesn't. I don't know if that means anything. Other than that, they seem exactly the same. Not wanting flawed pieces though, I returned the set and reordered, this time going with the "New" option. I will check this new setting and see how it looks.

I’ve had these for a year now and I’d like to address then”spotting” others are seeing on their butter knife blades. I found it only happens when you wash them and don’t dry them. If you hand wash them and leave them in the silverware drainer any water drop that dries on the blade leaves a mark. But the mark isn’t permanent.If you wash them in the dishwasher and add the heated dry cycle they do not spot. If the heated dry cycle is wasteful to you energy wise just wipe the blades with a warm damp towel and towel dry them. Voila.I used them for all three meals every day for a year and they look brand new still. Before the pandemic my dinner guests would always compliment them.

This is a really nice flatware set and very pretty too. The facets sparkle in light. This flatware is slightly bigger size than the usual type and it has a nice heavy weight and good balance to it. The pieces feel good in your hand and have a substantial feel of quality to them.. I bought one set for four and like it so much ordered another and the price on Amazon is better than other sites I looked in. I am pleased I selected this flatware after looking and looking at many other styles and brands. If it is indicative of the companies level of quality I'll look for more items from this company.

Me and the wife bought our fist set of 4 at Williams-Sonoma and the discount was great at the store. These were on sale here too and I grabbed them up fast! They are perfect strength and durable, I love the facet look and feel, they are sturdy in the hand. The only aspect that can cause an issue is the knife is very long and might not fit in many trays.

The set is excellent! First saw these at a restaurant and had to get. you can feel the quality and weight when you're using them.
