Perfect to connect Thomas to extender trains!
My son received a train set to make his larger but it did not match up with his existing Thomas set. These pieces were the perfect answer!

If it isn't broken, then don't "Fix" it
Traditional wood train tracks had a middle connection and were plenty easy to use. Fisher -Price decided to change the tracks to a more difficult train track so they wouldn't go together with Brio, Ikea, and all kinds of other brand trains without an overpriced adaptor like this. I wouldn't have bought them if I had seen them before purchase. Our normal Brios and Thomas trains worked on several generations of kids without the off-kilter tracks.
