It features enhanced resistance to bacterial leaf blight and a shorter plant height to withstand adverse weather, making it a profitable and reliable choice for modern farmers seeking premium basmati rice cultivation. ## Description Pusa Basmati 1718 is the new genetically modified seed from PUSA which is resistant to bacterial leaf blight (disease-causing uneven growth and withering of the plant) and owing to a shorter length, it prevented flattening of the crop during rain, hailstorm, or strong winds. It is a genetically modified rice seed of the PUSA 1121 basmati variety which now has additional genes to counter the disease. The yield of the new seed is also comparatively higher than the existing breeds of the basmati rice seed. Ripening of the seed also takes lesser time than other seed varieties (approx 144 days). ## Features - HIGH YIELD OF 17 to 18 Quintal per Acre - CROP DURATION 140 TO 145 DAYS - HIGHLY PROFITABLE PADDY VARIETY ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08ZJ54JPZ | | Best Sellers Rank | #97,892 in Grocery & Gourmet Foods ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Foods ) #708 in Basmati | | Brand Name | Sakshi Farms | | Coin Variety 1 | Basmati,Basmati Rice | | Container Type | Pouch | | Customer Reviews | 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars (54) | | Included Components | Paddy Seeds Pusa Basmati 1718 | | Item Form | Seed | | Item Package Weight | 1.98 Pounds | | Item Type Name | Paddy Seeds Pusa Basmati 1718 | | Item Weight | 1 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Sakshi Farms, Sakshi Farms, Bulandshahr, Customer Care +91 9811468875 | | Manufacturer Contact Information | Sakshi Farms, Bulandshahr, Customer Care +91 9811468875 | | Model Number | A 2021 | | Number of Pieces | 980 | | Package Quantity | 1 | | Size | 1 KG | | Unit Count | 980.0 Grams | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Sakshi Farms - **Item Form:** Seed - **Item Package Quantity:** 1 - **Item Weight:** 1 Kilograms - **Net Quantity:** 980.0 Grams ## Images ![Pusa Basmati 1718 | Rice Paddy Seed for Agriculture & Farming (Kheti खेती) | Pure Pusa Basmati Rice Seeds | 1718 Variety | 1 KG - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/618t1lMVyHL.jpg) ![Pusa Basmati 1718 | Rice Paddy Seed for Agriculture & Farming (Kheti खेती) | Pure Pusa Basmati Rice Seeds | 1718 Variety | 1 KG - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51LbChusUIL.jpg) ![Pusa Basmati 1718 | Rice Paddy Seed for Agriculture & Farming (Kheti खेती) | Pure Pusa Basmati Rice Seeds | 1718 Variety | 1 KG - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41WVohMi0IL.jpg) ![Pusa Basmati 1718 | Rice Paddy Seed for Agriculture & Farming (Kheti खेती) | Pure Pusa Basmati Rice Seeds | 1718 Variety | 1 KG - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51VZDBk+vXL.jpg) ![Pusa Basmati 1718 | Rice Paddy Seed for Agriculture & Farming (Kheti खेती) | Pure Pusa Basmati Rice Seeds | 1718 Variety | 1 KG - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31tlj-SRtWL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Sakshi Farms Pusa Basmati 1718 | Rice Paddy Seed for Agriculture & Farming (Kheti खेती) | Pure Pusa Basmati Rice Seeds | 1718 Variety | 1 KG - GREEN WORLD Black Rice Rarest Manipuri Paddy Seeds - 200 Gms For Farming --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/298113347-pusa-basmati-1718-rice-paddy-seed-for-agriculture-and-farming](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/298113347-pusa-basmati-1718-rice-paddy-seed-for-agriculture-and-farming) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
