**Q: can it cut jeans ?**
A: Yes it can cut jeans, fabric, leather smoothly.

**Q: Are you able to separate the blades for easier sharpening on a stone?**
A: I have not tried to sharpen them yet. I DO know out of the box they are very sharp. I took a leather strop to them and they are amazingly sharp now. Almost too sharp. Accidentally sliced my finger just brushing against one of the blades when I moved a little too quickly and my hand didn't. 
It DOES appear as if they can be taken apart once the screw and nut is removed though.

**Q: Where is it made?**
A: These scissors are designed in the United States, and the factory is located in China. Some American employees in charge of quality control at the factory.

**Q: Can the blades be separated (for sharpening)?**
A: Yes the blades can be separated. Use small-sized spanner, unscrew the nut, then it can be separated. After sharpening, you can also screw the nut to adjust if the blades are not aligned well.
