Structural Industries Music 7 inch Single Frame

I'm one of those people that relies on reviews when making a purchase so this was a bit of a risk since it only had one review and it was nondescript. In the end, I'm glad I did.It came in minimal packaging, which worried me because it could've easily been damaged. It was packed in an envelope and the frame itself only had tight plastic wrapping and styrofoam on the corners.The frame itself is very sturdy and seems well built. The frame seems to be built out of the same type of faux wood IKEA uses for its furniture. It's relatively thin and has metal support brackets on the inside corners.The "glass" is actually plexiglass with removable screens on both sides to protect it from scratches during transportation. The plexiglass itself is semi-roughly cut around the edges but it might hardly matter since it's not visible when the frame is pieced together.The backplate is the same type of wood as the frame. It does not contain a leg stand so the frame can't stand on its own, which was a little disappointing given the price. One could easily be added if needed, though. The backplate stays locked into the frame using four rotating metal brackets that latch on to the inside of the frame. This helps keep the record inside in place so it doesn't rattle around.Overall, the product seems well built and I'm satisfied but I'm giving it four stars because, at $15, the price point seems high.

Ultimately it did what I needed it for, it framed a 45 record. It is extremely over priced. It is no where as nice as I would have expected for the price. I had wanted to very nicely frame a keepsake 45. By the time I had received it and realized that I did not really like it, I had no time to go look for another that I liked better. Two days later I found one for half the price.

I had some purple Prince records I wanted to frame. I bought two of these for the 45s, They work well and look good.

Very cheap and not really big enough to fit an actual 45 Record...

As another reviewer said, it's pricy but solid. I'm very satisfied with these frames.

Great for displaying old records.

Tried this with several different 7" records but they do not fit - should not be advertised as a music record frame.
