316L Surgical Steel Captive Bead Ring CBR 12g

I bought this for two reasons: I like the look of captives in septum piercings, and the weight in the center is better than a circular bar ring (CBR)I had a CBR but it would get tilted and then the weight of one end would throw it off balance. I found myself adjusting it constantly. I bought this captive ring in the hopes that the single bead would help pull the balance to the center. It works splendidly. I had bought one that was way too big in diameter before, but this is just perfect for the size of my nose. And you can never go wrong with surgical steel, especially in color. It matches everything!

This is the best septum ring I own. I had to buy a tool to get the ball out when it came time to change it but once I had the tool it was a breeze. It fits nicely and not too snug or loose. PERFECTION!

Either my other 12g are 10g or these are smaller than 12g. You'll need pliers to open these.

Good product, the ball is too small if you're trying to use it as a PA.

This is a nice shiny piece that would fall into a certain niche of body modification fans. I bought this expecting some ease of use, but was quite disappointed. It requires at least one specialized tool, perhaps others in order to install. Since I don't have any tools of the kind, this item is rather useless to me. I gave it two Stars because other fans may have tools and therefore better luck than me.
