The main reason I'll go back to this forever is how easy it was to remove. Gave my 5.5 year old a wet wash cloth and she got it done in two minutes. After reading a lot of reviews and watching a few face paint tutorials I decided to go with snazaroo and found this product to be sold very reasonably priced by desertcart. It was very easy to use. Just add a little water and swirl it around with your finger until the paint is pliable. Then we finger painted our faces and neck which took maybe 5 minutes to completely cover someone's face. Very simple application. We could have used brushes but we were not doing anything delicate or artistic. Just gobs of orange all over the face! It worked great and looked great. We had compliments all night. I'd highly recommend it to anyone thinking of going as an oompa loompa and it's perfect for a group costume idea. I don't know how many applications would work for this 18ml sized product. The descriptions says it could do 50 to 100 full faces and I believe it. We did 6 and it hardly made a dent. This will last a long time. My wife who has fairly sensitive skin and breaks out in rash at the weirdest things was fine using this product. No one else experienced any allergic reaction problems. This washed off in one shower with minimal scrubbing and basic face soap. Cotton balls suck, the red/blue sponges you can buy online make splotches and doing it by fingertip means uneven coverage. We used a very soft piece of flannel and found it didn't hold on to much of the makeup as we applied. Now, for you question...iif you are covering a lot of skin (arms, chest, face, etc...) several times I would go with at least 2 of the 18ml. Thinking of the 2 we did at Kamicon, we had 2 and did touch up and re-sealed up every couple of hours or so. You can go lighter on the coverage to get 2 to stretch the weekend due to the cost or if you want a darker/heavier coverage for each cosplay - maybe 3 would be best. It arrived a couple of days sooner than expected, so that was nice. I went ahead and tested the makeup on my skin since it's a bit sensitive and oily. I really like the makeup, and I prefer the price, too. I was going to buy Paradise's but they raised the price before I could buy. I ended up browsing again and found this brand. So, pros: it's a nice, pale blue that matches the shade of the character very well. I really like that about it, as I was worried it'd be too bright. It's pretty lightweight, didn't feel heavy or gross or anything, which is a problem I have with foundations sometimes. Cons: difficult to apply. I couldn't find my other makeup blender, so I ended up using a cotton ball. It was time-consuming to try and make this even, and even then it was blotchy in places. It comes off very easily, which is good in some ways so I'm not stuck with blue on my face, but when I want it on, I do want it to stay. Maybe I just need to experiment more with how to use it. It takes several layers to get it remotely decent looking. Would I buy again? Yeah, I would. I like the price a lot and it does the job well enough. It feels comfortable on my skin, which is a big plus. Would I recommend it? Yes, definitely. Especially if you know how to use this type of makeup.
