Heavy Duty Well built
I'm new at writing reviews but this light did exactly what i needed it to do i read others so I knew exactly what i was getting. I would recommend this product for photographers work perfecy for product shot that needed a white background bright enough for that. I dont like that you need a screwdriver to open to recharge though probably would have been ok to do a rubber seal like other brands.

Product description and photos are incorrect/misleading
Two complaints, up front, and then I'll move on to what I like about this light:Complaint #1. The description of the product says "ADJUSTABLE BRIGHTNESS LEVELS: Control brightness up or down in 10% increments via manual controls". This is NOT correct. There is a single button on this light. It allows you to toggle between 4 levels of brightness. The product guide that comes with the light indicates that these levels are 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. That is the finest level of control you can achieve.Complaint #2 (slightly related). One of the product photos says that "Hold down on both buttons to enable low light mode. Control brightness from 19-10%". This, too, is NOT correct. There are not two buttons on this light. Just one. And nothing I could do with this button would allow me to switch to some low-light mode. It makes me wonder if the company makes a slightly different version of this light. But what I received has exactly 4 levels of brightness.Minor gripe: when you want to charge it, you will need a screwdriver to unscrew the cap that covers the charging port. This is a minor annoyance. I realize that the screw-on cover might make the light more waterproof, but there are plenty of waterproof products out there that have solved this kind of problem without requiring a screwdriver to access a charging port.Having said that: there are some things that are great about this light: it is very solid feeling. I love the weight of this. It strikes me as a light that will last a long time, and will readily put up with a bit of rough handling.I also am impressed with how bright the light is. It will come in handy with outdoor macro photography. The 1/4" mounts make it easily compatible with any standard tripod.I also like the included diffusers, one orange and one clear. The can be used singly or in unison. Strong magnets hold the diffusers firmly to the light (and to each other). Also included is a packet of small colored gel-like rectangles that can be used for changing the color of the light. Just take one (or more) and sandwich them between the diffuser and the light.I could easily have given this 5 stars if the product actually did all that it claims to do. But with some important advertised features actually missing, I'm lowering my rating.

It's heavy - 145 grams. Solid aluminum case. Two diffusers. Micro USB charging. Built like a tank.
A caveat for this review: It's based on the light and real world use. Yes, the description has a glaring error: The light can't be adjusted in 10% increments. Honestly that does not matter for me. Being able to adjust in 25% increments is more than I need.So why not 5 stars? Well, it's waterproof to 30 feet. That means that it's obviously aimed at snorkelers and watersports fans. It's too easy to knock off the diffusers. I've already had to pick mine off the bottom of the pond once. There should be a lock to keep them in place. Yes, the magnets are a great idea, but you will eventually lose the diffusers. I'm going to drill a pair of teeny holes in each diffuser to loop a line through then attach the other end of the line to the light. The rest of the design is pretty near perfect. There's three 1/4-20" threaded holes, each about 1/4" deep. Saying the button is on top, the holes are on the left, bottom and right. At just over 5 oz, it's heavy for use on a smaller drone or with many gimbals (I often use a light on top of my camera on a gimbal.)Those three mounting holes are also great for accessories. For example, but the light on a cold shoe and mount it on a camera. Mount a mic on one of the others. It's also handy when mounted on a mini ball-head and magnetic mount or clamp mount - stick it anywhere. The beam is WIDE, even without the diffuser, so it's not going to travel far. Even at 5 feet away it won't give a lot of light to shoot by. Yes, it provides enough light to see - but seeing your surroundings and having enough light to shoot video by are two different things. The sweet spot for this light is 3-5 feet. The button is a bit difficult to press and has to be held in for one second to turn on. Each consecutive press changes brightness then switches to flash then off. It does not remember the previous setting, so after powering down you start with low power.

A light that could have been ok but suffers from false advertising
The light seems to have a fine build quality. Seems to be waterproof in my limited testing. It is fairly bright for such a small light. The issue is that this light isn't what they say it is. Lets go over what those issues are:They say this is USB C charging. No, this is micro USB charging; a much slower charging inferior connection type. They say you can control brightness in 10% increments. Again, no it doesn't. There are are only 4 different brightness levels. When I went back to check in the info for this light I saw that they actually DO mention the 4 brightness levels but like I said they also said you can changes brightness in 10% increments. Conflicting information.I get that this is supposed to be a waterproof light but the fact that you need a screwdriver to unscrew the plate covering the micro USB port seems like overkill. A simple rubber stopper cover would have been a much better design. They say you need to hold down BOTH buttons to enable low light mode. Only one problem...there is only ONE button on the light! With just 5 different brightness levels this light really doesn't do me any good. I got this light to use with my product videography and photography and I need to have granular control of the light. Just 4 different light levels doesn't work for me.
