The quality of these spring bars is comparable to genuine Omega spring bars.
I replaced the stainless steel bracelet on my Omega Speedmaster Racing with a rubber Speedmaster band using these spring bars from Barton. The quality is comparable to geniune Omega spring bars, but at a fraction of the price. The bars feature tight springs and very pronounced tips at each end that fit tightly into the holes on the watch case. When they find the holes, you can hear the pins click into place. In terms of size, purchase the size that is the exact width of the watch strap where the pin is to be inserted. The bars are designed longer than the watch strap, to allow for the spring tips to insert into the holes in the watch case. I would not trust the security of my $4800 Omega watch to just any spring bars.

Much thicker than Stock Seiko and 3rd party spring bars
4 Stars just for initial quality I haven't worn the watch for very long will bump up or down depending on how they do but. The spring bars are much thicker (middle spring bar) than the stock Seiko 18mm spring bars (Lowest in photo) which are thicker than the thin cheap 3rd party/brand-less spring bars (top/bent). I bent one of my cheap spring bars today, wish I had installed my Barton bars earlier.

One came apart early on international trip, dropped watch
Bought these because they "claim" to be sturdier than the standard Chinese-made, run-of-the-mill pins. They're not. No stronger than a fifty-cent, dime-store watch band bar. Junk. One just broke and dropped my watch on a sidewalk because of it. Run away from these, they are NOT what they are advertised to be. They just the standard, thin, tin-can almost-metal watch pins you get for almost free. Spending more, won't get you quality, not with these.

Excellent quality heavy duty watch pins.
I bought the 23mm for my Luminox watch, Luminox lists the lug width as 24mm, I tried the Barton 22mm (I had some from a previous order) and they were just a tad too short, the 23mm fit perfectly. These pins aren't cheap but in my oppinion are worth the price, they are well made and fell very solid with great spring tension and they are thicker than standard band pins which is exactly what I wanted. Very happy with this purchase.

how NOT to Lose Your Watch
you could buy 20 cheaper ones for the same price but at the end of the day will you still have your watch . THESE 22mm BARTON PINS will keep your band attached to your watch. dont take any risk with cheap pins an end up losing your watch or fall off and break the glass. yes my watch bands did have pins thou it was the ones with a lever that pull to the side, so i could not use them with my new bands. i wanted Pins that were strong, reliable. i did not want to worry that the pins would come off and i would lose my watch. i did a little research and I found these Barton pins they are sturdy and fit perfectly. at the end of the day when you take off your watch you will know you made the right choice.

Essential
The most under-appreciated component of a watch. The band retaining pin. These at $2.75 ea do what they should. For what it's worth these are quality. Polished stainless steel with perfectly fitted shafts that remarkably bond strap to watch in a most secure, if unappreciated manner. High quality 22mm pins that keep my heavy divers watch on my wrist. Day after, day after, day. Thank anonymous craftsperson. You do high quality work. This American genuinely appreciates your workmanship

Very stout hardware
Very stout hardware. Strong spring. I ordered size 21mm for a heavy stainless steel watch. Shaft diameter 1.9mm. Fully compressed tip-tip length 20mm. Full extended shoulder-shoulder ~23mm. The bent pins I took out were installed by a watch / jewelry shop. They were 1.5mm diameter, and shorter in every dimension. These pins really improve the feel of the watch band. It feels more crisp and sits straight on my wrist.

Fantastic product!
I rarely give 5* to any product. 1. Because there is always room for improvement, and 2. Value needs to be right and this is no different.I would have rated this 4.5 star because price is high for a non OEM brand but quality is as good as my Omega and Rolex OEM spring bars, thus the 5 stars. I have several watches and buy a lot of different spring bars and this is the best so far! This will be my goto brand from now on.

Central bar is too short
I ordered the 21mm bands to replace a broken one on my IWC watch. What arrived is clearly not 21mm. Although extended it might appear the same length as the original, the actual bar is several mm shorter which means those spring loaded ends will be moving around much more. This doesn't fill me with any confidence. As a result, I won't be putting these on my watch. I'll return them for the 22mm versions.

Easy to fit
Replacement for a broken pin. These were easy to fit, and looked strong.

Quality Spring bars!
Very good, quality spring bars! The actual tube is made of a one piece Stainless Steel and its not rolled tube where you would see a split or gap running from end to end. Being out of one piece, makes this a much stronger spring bar. Friend of mine purchased a set of 200 pcs for the same price as this 4 cost and he almost lost he`s watch because the spring bars were rolled and the split on the side just weakened the whole thing. Perfect example of get what you pay for! Shipped on time, arrived on time!

High quality well made spring bars,
Good quality spring bars, made of stainless steel, perfect fit on my Seiko fieldmaster band,I figured that I might as well replace the original spring bars with the best ones I can find considering the watch is worth about four hundred bucks, well worth it to me …

Perfect fit for Orient Mako / Ray
Worked great to replace the spring bars from an aftermarket metal bracelet as well as the terrible quality factory spring bars on an Orient Ray. Been hunting around for replacements for a while so I'm glad to have tried this brand!
