A CHILD'S REVIEW:I love this series so much I but this book just seems like the best ending to a series. There are some scenes that may be frightening to younger kids. This book is very good but what happened to Fin, Kalani and Maya? This book is still great for kids ages 8 to 12. I started this series when I was nine.SPOILER ALERTThe end is so good all the kids get to see their family and Meilin is not controlled by Gerathon any more. It seems like a great way to end the book. There is one scene where a main character almost falls a long way. Essix, the falcon grabs him. It's very funny when Rollan asks Conor if he was going to do recreational flying. Also, all of the great beasts sacrifice themselves but Briggan, Uraza Jhi and Essix live. The Nectar and the Bile are gone. It is a great way to end a series. This book is a great book to read. I love it. They all are happy in the end. This is a must read. :) on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the the best, this is a 10. Hurray!

Sad about all of the great beasts dieing though could they at least keep the Octupus. Still really happy that Conor ,Abeke,Meiline, and Rollan got to keep their spirit animals .I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT THEY WERE WELLING TO GIVE UP THEIR SPIRIT ANIMALS TO SAVE THE WORLD! I need to read the next one to see how everything goes . And to see how Conor does being the leader!

I love love LOVE this book ima go insane this one of the best books EVER near harry potter greatness (thats a big compliment for me) but i want a epilogue SO bad.... WHY ISNT THERE AN EPILOGUE!!!!!!???????!!!!!!! WHY!!!!???!! cause i NEED one or ima DIE is there like a book about that or something? if so GIME

When I bought the first book, I could not believe my eyes. It was AWESOME. I really like Nanini the swan(how to spell?) and Tellun the moose? Or stag? So much I cant even remember. I have read all the books already. All of them are cool. im going to try saying all of the great beasts.(sorry if spell wrong) Arax, Rumfuss...is all i remember. I have not read for a long time. Sorry avain

I really liked this last book in the series. The ending was very happy. But my questions remain unanswered. What happened to Shane? Or Finn, Maya, and Kalani? Why wasn't Irtike there? I am hoping the second series answers them. I won't give any spoilers, but I will say that I was really disappointed when a character that was introduced recently dies. Despite this, I keep rereading this book because it is so suspenseful. I cry every time because it is so sad, but happy too. The story deserves an award! I would give it ten stars if I could.

My 13 son is hooked on this series of books. It has been a struggle to get him to read. Then he picked up book 1 and can't stop reading. We literally have to tell him to put the book down to walk, eat, sleep etc. He says it is so interesting and he can't wait to see what happens next. I was sad to realize there isn't more books to this series. There needs to be many more added. I hope they keep coming out with new books.

My 9 year old loves this series! The minute he is done with one book he wants another one. They keep him interested, he finishes them in a few sittings. I love having a series my little guy loves (he is into this type of book i.e. serious tone, the go on a journey to fight evil, etc).

This book was greatly enjoyed by my ten year old grandson. I would recommend it for any boy of that age.

Super!!!!! I can't wait for the next one.
