Love this Camera!
ZUMIMALL 2K Security Camera is easy to install and gives me total control of vision in my backyard from anywhere I am. I can move the area that I see, zoom in and out in the app on my phone, sends me an instant alert when motion is detected. The sound and videos are clear even at night. Customer service has been great! Iโm so glad I purchased this product!

A must for your DIY home security system
I wanted a camera that I could focus in one main area, but I also wanted a camera that allowed me move the camera to see other areas of interest as needed. I am currently using several of the Zumimall cameras (doorbell, indoor, outdoor), and I was happy to see that they have a battery powered camera that could do what I wanted it to do. I wasn't looking for a camera that required a constant power supply that was plugged in, and this camera can also connect a small solar panel to help charge the internal battery. Even if you don't have the optional solar panel, the internal battery is big enough that you won't need to constantly take the camera down to charge. After more than a week of having the camera in use, I still have 95% charge in the battery. The camera also has two antennas which can rotate if needed to get the strongest signal. My guess (even though I didn't test it to verify) is that this would allow the camera to be setup further away from your WIFI router compared to my other outdoor camera which doesn't have any antenna at all. This camera was setup over my garage to allow me to have a general view of the front of the house and the ability to pan left or right to see the sides whenever I needed. Setup was super quick. Since I already had the Zumimall app on my phone, I let it fully charge before turning the camera on. Once I turned it on, I went to the app and selected "add device." The app immediately recognized the new camera, and I was able to follow the rest of the steps to add it to my list of other cameras. This took about 2-3 minutes in total. I personally prefer having a camera system that can connect directly to WIFI via an app instead of a hub. Not only does a hub require it's own power source and an empty ethernet slot on your router, it typically limits the number of cameras that can be connected to it (usually 6 cameras). I have personally connected more than 6 cameras to the Zumimall app without any issues. Everything works as expected. This camera has a lot of useful features at no additional cost (no subscription required): 2-way talk, screenshot, record, motion detection, audio warning and strobe light, full color mode, and pan/pinch-to-zoom. As previously stated, this camera can move 360 degrees and tilt up and down so nothing is missed. The motion detection can be customized for detection sensitivity, day or night humanoid detection, as well as a separate humanoid sensitivity. You can also setup the motion detection to automatically turn on or off on a set schedule, and you can also add up to 5 different humanoid alarm areas within the frame. The picture/video is crisp and clear with up to 6x magnification (pinch-to-zoom). The camera can hold up to 128GB microSD card, and you can have it record directly to the SD card, the cloud, or both. The free service includes up to 6 seconds per clip, but you can optionally pay a subscription to unlock more cloud service features and enhanced AI capabilities (descriptive events, video search, daily recaps, etc). Additionally, video encryption is included as part of the free service to ensure that your videos have an extra layer of protection whether on the SD card or in the cloud. Overall, this camera fits in well with my existing Zumimall cameras. Everything just works as expected, and I really appreciate that the app connects quickly so I can check in on my home when I'm away. The only thing that I would suggest to make this better is to have automatic motion tracking like I have with my indoor cameras. I have only seen automatic motion tracking included on outdoor cameras that have a constant power supply (plugged in), but hopefully they can find a way to make it work on battery powered units as well in the near future. However, this camera is still a great value for the price, and I would highly recommend it as part of your DIY home security system.

Must purchase wonโt regret it.
I found the initial setup process for the camera to be exceptionally straightforward and user-friendly, allowing for a very quick and hassle-free installation. While exploring options for outdoor placement, I specifically sought a no-drill mounting solution, which I have not yet secured. Consequently, I temporarily positioned the camera indoors on my bay window, where it effectively monitors the exterior surroundings. I am particularly impressed with the camera's picture quality. The 360-degree panoramic view is a standout feature, enabling comprehensive coverage and ensuring no blind spots, which significantly enhances security and monitoring capabilities. Furthermore, the dedicated mobile application has proven to be an outstanding component of this system. Its user-friendly interface and the ability to remotely control and reset the camera's viewing angle directly from my smartphone have greatly contributed to a convenient and flexible user experience. In conclusion, I am thoroughly impressed with the advanced technology and robust functionality incorporated into this ZUMIMALL camera. It truly delivers on its promises, and I would confidently recommend it to prospective buyers.

A keeper, with a couple caveats
This Zumimall camera has generally met my expectations. Iโve been using it for about a week now and have tested most if not all of its features. The initial set up and insulation was easy enough. There have been a couple quirky aspects of its operation that took some getting used to. The feature that took longest to get used to was the PTZ capability. It would appear that there are two ways you can engage pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities. One is by tapping the image, and then tapping PTZ on the bottom of the screen menu bar which brings up an on screen control device that allows you to pan back-and-forth or tilt up and down. this PTZ control device does not however, allow you to zoom. To zoom in and out you need to use a two finger pinch and separate approach as is typical with images. You can also drag a finger across the screen to pan and tilt, however, panning, and tilting by a finger drag soon becomes dysfunctional and the camera becomes unable to pan and tilt at all. Closing the Camera app and restarting resets all functionality to proper operation. For problem, free image acquisition use the PTZ tool to pan and tilt, then zoom using a two finger pinch and separate. Another quirk occurs when the microphone is on. The camera noises, say from PTZ operation, will be audible and sound like birds chirping. This was kind of confusing until I figured out what was going on. Iโve also used the motion detection feature to some extent and so far have found it very reliable. Iโve set the sensitivity fairly low and set the area for motion detection to a minimum area. I donโt like false alarms, and where I have it seems to be working to my satisfaction. I placed the camera on my front porch so anybody approaching the front door will trigger a notification, but the random bird flying through or squirrel scampering along does not set off a notification of motion detection. I have not yet fully drained the initial battery charge from the factory setting. I have though done a partial recharge to make sure that the battery would recharge properly since I have been testing the camera frequently, I expect that I have been using the battery more than I would normally and the battery does not seem to be losing charge alarmingly. There is a feature where you can check the battery charge in the app which is handy. There does seem to be some variation of plus or minus 5% in the reported battery charge which caused me some concern initially, until I got accustomed to the reading variability. In conclusion, I would say the Zumimall camera is a keeper, and I would recommend it with the caveats noted above.

Great, clean images
Cameras are very easy to set up. Nice interface. SD card storage up to 128gb makes it very handy. Great night vision and clear crisp colors during the day. I have bought 2 to try and love them, will be buying another 2-3 to finish the business camera system.

UPDATE: Officially now this is the WORST camera ever. As i mentioned earlier in my review, i use this to monitor my chicken flock. I recently experienced 3 separate attacks on my girls, and NOT ONE was picked up by the camera. And in case any naysayers or reps from this company want to tell me that i must have had it too far away- i had this about 20 feet from the carnage, and where everything occured was well within the supposed field of vision. Attacks 1 and 2 happened within a day of each other. I woke up and came outside to do my usual morning routine for the chickens, only to find feathers and half consumed bodies in my chicken tunnel i had set up (chicken wire angled in upside down U shape, allowing them to have more room to run away from the coop). The first event was all the more heartbreaking as one victim was a young chick, along with its mother- who probably gave her life trying to protect her baby. The following day, an exact similar outcome occurred to another chicken in my tunnel. 2 days, 3 birds killed. Can't tell you what the culprit was because when I raced to view the footage, the only record was the previous nights activity as I would do my usual tuck in routine for the flock. And again to the naysayers...no whatever did this was not too small of a creature- it had to have been something like a possum, raccoon, hawk etc. Speaking of hawks...attack #3 I caught with my own eyes after the fact as the predator tried to fly off with my bird. I stepped outside and saw it fly across the yard, release its meal and zoom off above the tree lined horizon. Where my flock was, they were contained in pen outside of the coop and again....angled right within the camera's field of vision. Nothing off camera. Large enough predator to to see. And of course- NOTHING to see when I checked my footage. Yes, the camera was charged. Basically, if you want a cheap piece of plastic that looks techy-ish, and have some cash that you need to get rid of, get this camera. It won't do anything, so you don't have to be bothered reviewing footage. And if you are trying to find a way to let others know how gullible you are when it comes to online purchases- this camera will be the 'flag' you can wave proudly for all to see. DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. JUNK. Your life or property may depend on the decision you make with this item. How much is that worth to you? Spend the extra $ and get a REAL security camera. โ-------โ----------------------------------------------- Just needed a simple system to monitor around my house....couldn't justify spending hundreds of dollars on the bigger name brand cameras with all their bells and whistles. Wish I would have done some more thinking before purchasing this one. Problems... 1) accessing the feed can take minutes. If you are looking for a security camera, you want to be able to see what is happening at that moment. Not a minute or two after the fact. 2) quite often when you move the camera angle around on the app, the physical camera will freak out and spin waaaay around from where you were trying to view. You have to painstakingly tap, tap, tap, tap to move to angle back....but even so, the camera will probably spin way back around the other way. I've been having to close out of the app and try again to fix the viewing angle. 3) it comes with free cloud storage and will record 6seconds of motion activity. You can pay for premium services which will record 30sec of activity...but what if what triggered that motion sensor was criminal behavior? Wouldn't you want to have ALL the footage of that activity? Tying into the premium service....when you buy that service, it's only for one individual camera. I have 4, so to have the better service options, I have to buy that TIMES 4. $$$ if you have an account, you should have the option to buy the premium and have it available for all cameras registered to you. 4) motion sensor doesn't catch everything. I'm not talking slight movements....I'm talking walking in plain view of the camera, chasing pets around, etc. When I go back later and look at my footage, often that activity is not recorded. 5) it will only record video/images of where the camera is angled. I wish it would record anything in the zone the camera can move to. Currently I have 1 camera in my backyard angled to my chicken pen (yes I'm a crazy chicken lady! Don't hold it against me...)...but the side door to the house is not in that direct viewing area. When I move the camera angle, the door is definitely in a viewable area. But to see that means giving up my pen coverage. Put more clearly....let's say your camera is zoned in one spot...but a creepy creepalot comes around just out of that view. Even though your camera could easily see the creeper if it had been moved, you will miss that activity because it's not where you have the viewing zone set up. I'll edit this later as I think of other things.. right now it's 2am and I wanted to get something down while it was fresh in mind.

Love these cameras; easy to use and great images. SD card slot is a plus!
I love the Zumimall 2K Security Cameras I've purchased. My parent has three, and I have six. Most of mine are outside at various points around the property, and one is inside the garage. These cameras are very easy to set up on the wifi network and also easy to mount. Half of the ones I purchased had solar panel attachments that allowed them to continuously keep the battery charged after the initial charge via the provided USB cable. This is a very nice feature, as it allows a greater time period before I need to drag out the ladder to pull them down for plugging into a socket. The live picture can take a few moments to load, but I figure it has to do with encryption. The image quality is wonderful in both day and night. And there is a switch to allow viewing in color at night. There are a plethora of settings to choose in the config. The unit also has two external antennas that can be rotated to find the best signal. I have one device on the opposite side of the house, but it is still able to connect to the network despite the many walls and the metal roof between my router and the device. I love how the app tells me the current charge level of the battery and the signal strength. But the absolute best feature of the Zumimall cameras is the ability to add an SD card to record things for me to review. There is a history option to review captured motions from earlier in the day and week. It does not require a cloud subscription. Overall, I am very pleased with these devices and will continue to use this brand.

Good, reasonable price, but non connecting issues with the 3rd camera setting up and pairing.
We ordered three cameras. Two regular and one with solar. One solar was paired well. The first regular one took a few attempts to get the phone, WiFi and bluetooth all paired with the camera. eventually had to return my Zummimall home page and start the pairing ALL over again and it FINALLY connected. But the third camera, the second regular one, never paired. The camera turned on, lots of power, red light for power turned on, held the reset button for 5 seconds and both times the "chirping" connection sounded. The blue light indicating that the camera was connected to Wifi and phone never came on like the last two cameras we paired. We have troubleshooted for over an hour now. I am going to return the camera that is not working. I do have to say the 3 star represents the clarity of the video, the rotation view is excellent, affordable price for a wireless camera and the quick delivery. I cannot speak to the return process or customer service at this point. But if the CS is good and the wireless lasts well, I will come back and give an updated review later. TY! God bless!

Easy to setup and use
I now have two Zimimall cameras at a remote shop located 30 miles away. It allows me to monitor the remote shop from any where in the world. One camera is the stationary model, this is my first PTZ camera that allows me to move the camera using my phone. It is a nice feature as it allows a much wider viewing area option by simply touching the screen on my phone. The cameras get their wi-fi signal from my son's house located approx. 50' away. I do have a wi-fi extender located in the shop to amplify the signal, and the cameras pickup the signal very well. No problems with signal strength. The cameras are very easy to set up right from the box. I'm thinking about running a power wire from a USB charger to the camera and leaving it continously charging (instead of the solar panel) as I do not want to drill too many holes in my shop to mount a outside solar panel. The company hasn't responded back if leaving the camera charging continously would be a problem despite several inquires emailed to them. So far after running the camera for a week the internal battery is still almost fully charged, so if you want to leave the camera outside without a charger, the 3 to 4 months the company states the camera will run on just an initial charge doesn't seem out of line.

My Camera is Defective and Seller is not replacing it.
My Camera has been faulty and having serious issues and every time the seller sends some firmware which works for couple of weeks and the issues are back. Like it doesn't connect, it doesn't record, it lags / broken recordings. Since beginning I have been requesting the seller that the Camera is Defective and to kindly replace it as it's a matter of security for my family. But Nothing has happened.
