As previously reported, the instructions were non existent but assembly was pretty easy. The assembly requires tools to make secure. The packing was terrible. The basin came in a large box with no packing. The required nuts, bolts and sleeve for the bolts were merely tossed in the box. The box arrived on time but with a large hole and only one nut, (supposedly to have four) three bolts and two sleeves (again suppose to have four). I had to go to the hardware store to get replacements. The bowl when assembled is not steady but for what I am using it for it is fine. I can’t imagine using it for any professional service as noted in the description. I use it for an elderly parents hair washing and it is fine for that. I did not have any of the leaking problems as noted by others. I give it a 3 just because it will suffice for my needs but not very close to the description. Update: used it several times and it works fine. Ideal for home health. Not very sturdy but good for occasional use at home. Updating to 4 stars

I like this sink a lot! I just wish it was not so high, bc the shampoo chair I use only moves the back rest and doesn’t lower or lift. Otherwise it works great. Due to it being slightly taller than I hoped for, I can still work with it, but unfortunately I have to have it the slightest bit tilted bc of it. When the client rests their head, that weight does help push it down a little, so that helps! It’s not the most sturdy. I noticed it wobbles the slightest bit. Which makes sense, bc it’s just resting on a pole as a stand. For it to be the most comfortable, it’s best to place a towel underneath the neck and also on the shoulders. There’s been NO leaks, just be sure to empty out your bucket consistently. So far, my family and friends love it. I even gave the option to my mom to sit up in case her neck or shoulders were hurting, and surely enough she went back down bc she was so comfortable, which is a great sign you cannn make this sink work, and feel comfortable even with it being slightly taller than expected.

Broken hip left Mother unable to walk much and we haven't figured out any way to get her in her tub or shower, so we are stuck with washing her down and the only way we could get her hair even half way washed was with a soppy wash rag with shampoo and then again with clear water and she didn't like it . . . so I found this and bought it.It isn't easy since the kitchen sink sprayer wouldn't reach far enough and the drain hose has to drain into something on the floor, but at least Mom gets a real shampoo now and I don't have to wonder if it was rinsed well enough.It's not handy and I don't have any place to store it, and it could have used some rollers on those feet, but it's definitely worth the money. I got a spray hose and am hoping it will reach better. If you can't get your loved one in a shower or tub and can't afford to remodel your bathroom, then this should work for you too.

I purchased this product for use in my home and it meets all of my expectations especially for the price. It is very sturdy to lean your head back into, drain hose is perfect length, and the basin is more than deep enough (especially on those that have long thick hair). Very easy to put together, took me about 5 min after getting it out of the box, and it arrived earlier than the est arrival date which was fantastic. The only 2 down sides is that 1.the drain is in the middle of the basin instead of towards the front. This makes it harder to drain properly when it is tipped forward rinsing hair bc some of the water sits in it but I just scoop it towards the drain and it's fine. And 2.I've had a few complain of the bowl hurting their shoulders while resting their head back. I simply took a towel and draped it over the shoulders before leaning back and that was plenty of cushion. Overall I am very pleased with this product especially for the price.

Works perfectly to shampoo my disabled daughter's hair. She is in a wheelchair and this works well, though I did have to lower it as low as it would go and tilt it forward so it would fit around the back of her neck and her head would lie down far enough which requires me to have her sit up and tilt it back in order to have it drain fully. It drains well and does not leak. At first I tried putting the drain hose in the tub but when I adjusted the basin, the hose came out of the tub and got water on the floor. Therefore, be careful to watch the drain hose if you are adjusting the basin. I decided to let it drain in the shower instead and got a hand held sprayer to attach to my shower and that worked perfectly!

What a fantastic product. I have a home based extension business and was having my clients rinse their own hair over my bathtub.. how unprofessional. I came across this sink about a week ago and ordered it. It arrived within 3 days.I especially love how deep it is and how it tilts to accommodate any height. It really is excellent quality. It makes shampooing clients so easy and its easy on the eyes.I am so happy with this sink. It has created a professional atmosphere for me and i don't have to clean out my bathtub everyday anymore. I would recommend this to anybody!I can't believe i paid so little for such an amazing product.One tip: I use large buckets from home depot for drainage. I line 5 empty buckets up and just move the hose as they fill up. The drain hose has to be lower than the sink or it doesn't drain and makes an enormous mess. User error!!!

This bowl is awesome! I bought it as a gift for my wife. Her hair is long and she loves to have her hair washed at the salon. (So the real gift is me washing her hair whenever she wants.) The depth and size is more than enough for her long hair.You will need to drain it in the bathtub, shower or bucket.
