Bear Archery Super Kodiak 60 Recurve Bow Right Hand 40 lb Dymondwood Riser Maple and Fiberglass Limbs, Black/Brown Maple

This is another outstanding Bear Archery product. The sellers shipped fast and the Bow did not disappoint. I own 4 Bear bows and this one is great. I like the larger riser arrow window makes gap shooting even easier at longer range. Nothing bad to say. Worried about the price being worth it, but soon as I held it knew it was going to be.

I purchased a 55# Bear Super Kodiak from a retailer locally. The bow itself is lovely, easy to handle, and powerful. I would love to give this five stars, but the front of the grip is a bit square-shaped and makes it rather uncomfortable to hold. When loosed, it rams into my fingers, which is normal, but that design makes it painful after a few arrows are loosed. I will need to cover the grip with leather to make it more usable. Can't say there's anything else wrong with it. The bow is magnificent other than that one thing. NOTE: The black/brown is the Kodiak, but the green one is a Kodiak Hunter (you can see it written on the inside in the pic). There is also no choice for draw strength, just the size of the bow? This confuses me. On a website like this, draw strength should be listed if the title allows for the option.

Very well made. Mine is a 65 lb. A hard pull but very easy to hit the right spot. Best bow I have. Have 9

While I have not bought a bow on Amazon, I do own a Bear Super Kodiak. As far as recurve bows go it is one of my favorites. Mine is a 50# pull at 29 in. It is solid and mine is over 25 years old and still nailing targets. The one downside is it is a one piece bow. It cannot be taken down to place into a hard bow case as it is too long to fit. Other than that, I have thoroughly enjoyed this bow for many years and plan on many more.
