Sometimes a good book is meant to be played…
I have the entire line of dark cities series of games that Facade has put out and they continue to ‘up the ante’ on each successive entry. High quality and the desire to make a unique play through experience always appear to be at the forefront of Facade games. I always look forward to their releases because of the obvious love and care they have for their subject matter of developed games as well as their clear love of gaming period. The format they have chosen harkens back to the lovely Avalon Hill ‘Bookcase’ games, only taken to a beautiful, ‘literal’ degree, and makes it all the more attractive and nostalgic. Add to that, the games are exactly what games are supposed to be, fun to play and replay, it makes for a winning combination. And Bristol 1350 is absolutely 5-star across the board. The design work is lovely, from the card art to the playmat, and the fabulous dice that are included are engraved, not simply stamped. Another high watermark of this company. They just flat out do great work. I just think it’s wonderful with this many games out already, that Facade is not content to make do. The gorgeous little carts you are trying to escape the city with, are meticulous in detail. And yes, many games have bells and whistles, but to top it off, Bristol is fun! Maybe you’ll make it out with your friend. Or not. Or no one will! And you will want to do it all over again! The best part of a game, by a mile. Let’s play again. And if this helps you consider Bristol 1350, or any of Facade’s other fine products, it’ll be time we’ll spent. After all, there’s nothing like a good book.

Interesting concept
It’s a decent game, but I found it quite challenging to get into at first. When my family gave it a try, they didn’t seem very enthusiastic about playing it again, which was a bit disappointing. I understand that not every game resonates with everyone, and it can be tough to keep everyone engaged.

Fun for all, healthy or infected!
Such a fun game. You never know who’s going to win right up to the end because there are so many was this game can change each turn. You might think you know who is infected but what you don’t know is who will end up in what cart as you leave the city. Fun to play with a big group.

Say yes to this game!
It's a little complicated to get going (just seems like a lot of moving pieces at first), but once you play the first round or two it gets super easy and just all out fun. It's worth it and it will be a new fan favorite at game nights. The game looks like a book which is super neat. I think my ONLY, very mild, complaint is the actual board. Because it's a rubber Matt that is rolled the edges are a bit curled, so we just started out on the table and then the first few moves were back on the board.

Another great game from Facade Games
Bristol is another great game from Facade Games. PROS: - No 'night phase' or 'narrator' required like in Mafia or Salem. - Starts out cooperative, and may or may not end up being competitive. Creates a fun atmosphere of paranoia where everyone wonders if anyone has become infected or not. You never know! - While early player elimination is possible, there is potential punishment if you eliminate a non-infected player (you get eliminated as well). CONS: - Unlike Tortuga this game does not come with player aid reference cards included (you can find some printable ones on the Bristol boardgamegeek page) - My copy came with 2 brown player pawns and no yellow player pawns. On the plus side Facade Games sells upgraded meeples with unique designs here on Amazon for about $9 so that fixed the problem I had there. Bristol is a 9 out of 10 social dedication game for me.

Brilliant game
Such a fun game to play, easy to get the hang off. It doesn't take up much room on the shelf and is fairly portable to take to games nights. I really wish I got the deluxe edition but this one is amazing as an introduction. I will be looking at the other games from this creator. Really good price for hours of fun.

Fun in a box!
Our family loves the Facade Games. I got this for my husband’s birthday and we played it right away. Great strategic gameplay but not crazy involved like, say, Risk (thank goodness!😀) but you still kind of have to plan. It’s a bit more fun with more than 4 people but still a hoot with 4 or less. What I love about their games is the added historical element. Bristol takes place in the time of the plague and it is an interesting twist. Be warned though, kicking your family members out of your cart or intentionally giving them the plague can cause SOME hard feelings!! 😅😅. I will also add that these games are beautifully put together. Top notch quality and gorgeous design.

Bom pra grupos grandes
