I build show cars. This is an excellent reproduction of the dozen or so Smokey and the Bandits that I have built.

Nice paint, hood and doors don't open, no engine decal on hood shaker, but nice car

This is arguably the best scale model of the Smokey And The Bandit Trans Am that there is, perhaps because it is the largest at 1:18 ratio. Unfortunately, a star is lost due to a coupla features that really should've been given some attention.The first is the license plate. There is none. This is a major omission. "Georgia plates. BAN-ONE. B-A-N-d-d-dash-O-N-E". It's a line in the movie, for goodness sake! It's absence on this model is inexcusable.Another is the nonexistent engine. There's no reason to make the hood open since there's nothing underneath. And that's too bad. Even the small plastic Revell models that we assemble with glue have an engine. That the Bandit's Trans Am engine isn't featured on this meticulously designed model is another major downside.If you can get past those drawbacks, not to mention the exorbitant price, it's worth getting.

Ich bin etwas enttäuscht. Wenn ich das Modell zu den anderen amerikanischen Modellen stelle , wirkt es irgendwie kleiner.Es hat keine Lenkung und die Achsen klackern. Es gehen auch nur die Türen auf.Es kam ohne Verpackung und der Adressaufkleber war auf den Karton geklebt.Einen Sammler stört so was extrem.Fazit: würde ich nicht nochmal kaufen.
