Rarely does a product successfully combine all three of the above aspects, but this one CERTAINLY DOES. With four computers, three monitors, three routers and three switches (not to mention home theater audio/video gear), you can imagine the amount of cable clutter I have to deal with. There are several possible solutions, and I have used them in varying combinations, but these VELCRO Cable Ties form the BACKBONE for my cable management regimen. I don't know how many packs I've purchased over the years, but it's got to be close to 10. This is just perfect for cable management. When I was in undergrad, apparently I was already using these, but someone tried to pinch some pennies and cut them. Don't do that. They're cheap enough. It's Velcro brand velcro...err...hook and loop connectors. It's the original and real stuff. It's high quality. It'll also roll over on itself nicely meaning when you have your cable unfurled, then things still stay and look nice. They do make longer versions of this, but the 8" is generally enough for me. You can over extend them and they'll fail. That's not a product defect -- you just need longer ones. Surprisingly, they don't pick up that much hair or debris. So they stay clean pretty much on their own and you won't have this yucky looking fuzz mess at the end. They're a million times better than zip ties due to the reusability factor, although there's still a time and place for them. I don't see these that much out in the wild, so they seem to be a "hidden gem" in the tech world. I hope that changes!

This is a great product to have. Unless you have sworn off all electricity and telecommunications, you most likely have to deal with cords/cables. Nothing is more annoying than when they are messy, and this can in some cases present a tripping hazard. Rubber bands, wire ties, traditional zip ties, strong, and tape can all be used for this purpose, but they all have their downsides (some of which are significant.) Here, we have a cord/cable tie that uses a removable & reusable hook-and-loop fabric fastener produced by the Velcro brand, a name synonymous with hook-and-loop fasteners. Vastly different from the other options listed above, it is easy to apply, easy to remove, does not cause damage to cords/cables, does not rapidly degrade with age, can easily be cut (or combined) to change the size for the User's needs, and works well even when being used frequently. You have likely seen similar products at hardware stores, but generally the quantity per-package is low, and the price high. That limits practicality if you have a lot of cords. But here you can get 100 Velcro ties for about 6 bucks. Made with both economy & performance in mind, these wraps are lighter duty than some other Velcro products offered, and are only available in a black color. They measure 8 inches long and 1/2 inch wide, so they work well with most standard-sized cords (for larger cords, just connect two or more through the loops to form a single giant cord tie.) Each individual tie has a hole punched into one end, which allows the user to loop & tighten the tie to a cord/device so that the tie does not fall off of the cord when completely unstrapped/opened up. What I wanted was a versatile, durable, removable, reusable, and affordable cord/cable tie...these fit those needs perfectly. They are well made, reasonably strong, and the Velcro fastener used is very good quality considering the price. While these are lighter duty than most of the retail packages of Velcro Cord Ties are, these work perfectly for my general home-use needs and they cost about 1/10th the price. So I highly recommend these Velcro cord/cable ties!

Not sure about longevity but these do what you think they do and do it well so far. Put a roll in the junk drawer, and the other in the garage. Good stuff

i've been using these for a couple of decades--i've used many variants made by velcro brand and others--it seems there is no limit humans are willing to go to in order to customize the common problem of managing cables. This fasteners in this pack lack the fancy bells and whistles of other types (some types are thicker, wider, made of stronger material, padded, or color-coded, or even some super fancy ones that are an inch wide with built-in loop on the non-wrapping side of the cable tie to use the loop for hanging your bundled 100 foot long heavy AV microphone cables or whatnot... some of those types have a metal gusseted eye hole on them to hang whatever you've coiled up from a nail or hook in your shed or music room, man cave or shop or whatever And i own many of the "fancy" variants too but i've found that for MOST of my needs, i don't *want* any of those extra features... for instance, if you're using these velcro cable ties on thin wires for example, wired iphone headphones, the last thing i want is an enormous bulky "thing" attached to it--these little thin ones are perfect for such uses. Also they are LONG enough to be able to wrap thick cables with many wraps and that comes in handy but more often than not, i don't need 3 inches of velcro tail wrapping 12 times around the wired ear buds, for example... so i just cut them shorter... simple, easy... any decent pair of scissors works to trim the tie shorter so i'm only wrapping it around the coiled up headset ~3 times... plenty strong enough to keep everything firmly in place and i don't need the hassle of wrapping it around and around and around so many times its a bit silly there are companies that sell a similar product WITHOUT the little loop-fastener manufactured into the "tails" and i don't know why anyone would want those--one can get a razor blade out and 'fabricate' the built-in system these have... but its loads of work.... alternatively even the "fake" velcro products without the fastening slit thingy are made with a velcro-like surface so one CAN just wrap cables with them and go without the loop fastening feature and those hold cables in place perfectly well--the only headache is that unless you fabricate a custom feature to perform this functionality, the cable tie comes off the cable each and every time you unwind it and you've got to make sure you don't lose it, etc so that itty bitty feature and their delicate size and how easy they are to trim makes them my hands-down favorite for everything from headphones to 0 gauge welding wire... i use these things for all kinds of things--they're great!

great value. I use these everywhere to secure all my cables behind tv's, under the office desk, in wiring closets. Extremely versatile for use, and they never let me down.

OK, don't need to spend a ton of time extolling the virtues of these bands because plenty of other have done it already. I'll just share my use cases with you: 1. Bog standard cable management. Tie up loose cables so they don't get tangled - tie them to themselves, tie them to other cables, tie them to fixed surfaces, the possibilities are endless. Daisy chain them together to get super long ties. 2. Progressive cable management. The length of the tie + the velcro allows you to segment longer cables into smaller sections. For example, I have a 10ft USB cable, but sometimes I only need 3ft of length and I don't want all 10ft flopping about, so I wrap the tie around the cable in different sections. As the tie is unraveled, it releases each 1.5ft section one at a time, and the remaining length stays fastened together. 3. Shorten backpack straps. You can thread these through the loops in the loose ends of your backpack straps, then roll the straps in on themselves and fasten them at a much shorter length. This prevents the loose ends of your straps from touching the ground if you're carrying your pack by the top handle. 4. Bag/package compression. Sometimes I have small items loose in a bag, but I worry about them shaking out. I can wrap these ties around the bag to compress it down for size and hold the items securely for transit, and unpacking them is a breeze when they're needed again. 5. Carabiner substitute. Anything that has a ring or a loop that needs to attach to other rings/loops, this can do (provided you don't need heavy duty strength). 6. Rubber band substitute. There's not much in my life where using these ties is not a better experience than using rubber bands. Rubber bands degrade, either before you can use them or while they're meant to hold things together. Also, the progressive inelasticity of rubber bands mean you can get to about 80% of the tightness you want, but then looping it one more turn makes it 110% of what you want, which means you need to settle for too tight or not tight enough. These ties give you the exact tension you need and don't break down over time. 7. Janky alterations. I am only slightly ashamed to admit I have used these to (temporarily) tighten a pair of overly loose pants by looping two back belt loops together. Honestly there's probably so many other instances I've used these for either a quick or semi-permanent fix, and the product itself just makes me excited to look around and see what else can be organized with these ties! I can't think of any other product that makes me so irrationally satisfied at this price point.

These have been amazing to use. I had a whole sewing floor with 30 industrial sewing machines. Cords were everywhere, and now they are all neatly tucked away. My workplace looks better, and there are no more tripping hazards. I especially love that these are reusable, since I reposition them several times before getting it right.

Una maravilla para lo que esperaba(: Los velcros estàn unidos uno tras otro, hay que identificar bien donde comienza & donde termina cada uno para separarlos, cabe mencionar que hay que ejercer bastante fuerza para retirarlos por lo que puede ser que si buscas uno de mayor medida puedes dejarlos unidos & simplemente brincarte al siguiente extremo dejando 2 unidos, es un punto a mencionar mas no lo he intentado porque el velcro es lo suficiente largo para organizar cables bastante gruesos. Una maravilla su presentación en forma de pulsera pues permite simplemente restirar el velcro para ajustar bien lo que se pretende organizar(: Parece que se desgastaran muy fácilmente pero cada que se une como corresponde se fija fuertemente jaja incluso con la zona en la que pasa para ajustar. Muy recomendado espero que les sea de utilidad mi reseña(;

These Velcro One-Wrap Thin Ties are the best cable tie solution I've ever come across. I had no idea that you could find Velcro that is so thin, yet creates such a strong hold around my cables or other items. And when I say thin, I mean it. This is not your typical Velcro you'd find on a ski jacket or child's running shoes, no this is super low profile. The hooks and loops are micro and you can barely feel them with your fingers. You don't get the same ripping sound that you would expect from Velcro when you peel it apart either. Very cool Velcro technology here! The ties all come rolled together in spools, so you'll have to peel off each tie as you need it. As some other reviewers mentioned, this can be a bit tedious if you want to replace any plastic ties or other ties you already have. It's a small price to pay for such an incredibly easy to use and strong performing cable tie. Overall, I'm very happy with these cable ties and I highly recommend them over any other cable tie products!
