These little fairy lights are so bright. Love them!

Problem solved! I have 6 yo twins who share a room, so they have loft beds with stairs for “upper level” access. They’ve been hesitant to sleep on top because at night, they can’t see the stairs to get down. But white lights or night lights made the room too bright - they would wake the sleeping twin if one of them needed to come down in the middle of the night. These lights are just right - they’re flexible enough to be attached to the stairs with little stick on hooks, long enough to cover the side of all four steps, and bright enough to allow even sleepy kids to see the steps easily without lighting up the whole room. The blue color also helps fade the light away from the stairs and the switches are easy for the kids to use. Very happy with my purchase. I didn’t need six (only two) but they’re cute so I’m now finding other places to use them, too. Didn’t see a screwdriver in the box - will have to go look again.

I bought the 6 pk cool white 3.3 ft fairy lights, and they are very pretty! I didn't think about a remote when I ordered them, which would have made them perfect, but the seller made no claims to a remote either so it's certainly not their fault. If you're just using them as a "one and done" decoration for a wedding or event that will last several hours and it won't be used again, it would probably be fine. I used them in a glass enclosed Christmas decoration with some greenery, small Christmas balls and a tall flameless candle in the center, so I have to either leave them on continuously, or dig around in the decoration to find the switch, then I have to redo it so it looks good again - every night. The part with the batteries is almost 2 inches long, so I try to hide it under the greenery. Also, while the 3.3 ft is adequate, longer would have been better, especially if you're doing the wine bottle with fairy lights inside, which I have done for a previous event. It seems as though 3.3 ft would be enough, but it's not since they aren't meant to be stretched tight and straight. Each light takes 2 of the round CR2032 batteries (I don't know how long they last as I'm only using them about 5-6 hours/day), and it comes with a small screwdriver so you can change the batteries if needed - a nice addition. I took off a star for the lack of a remote, but otherwise, they are very pretty.

This product exceeded my expectations in every way. I initially purchased for use in a craft using a glass block. I was unsure if this would have enough lights or be bright enough to have the effect I was hoping for. The fact that these lights are on wire solved all my problems. The wire is thin enough that you can bend it to fit any space. I was able to space the lights how I wanted for the effect I wanted. The wire is still thin enough that it did not seem bulky and noticeable through the glass when the lights were off. One big bonus that I had not even considered when initially purchasing was the battery compartment. These lights use the button batteries and therefore the housing is smaller than I have seen on other battery sets I have purchased in the past. Very thin and makes "hiding" the battery even easier. If anyone is using for a glass block project, the battery compartment fits perfectly in the plug at the top of the block. I didn't have that planned out when I purchased but Karma worked in my favor this time. Again, this product exceeded every expectation - including price.

Exactly what l was looking for. They arrived very neatly packaged and even included a tiny, adorable screwdriver for future battery replacement. These lights were perfect for lighting up my hand painted 1925 Dutch Colonial.

I haven't used these strings long enough to rate the battery life or longevity, but I'm very impressed with the brightness and quality of the strings for such a low cost. I'll use these as photography props, so their longevity will be tested thoroughly, being stored in camera or prop bags, being wound around models or props, used outdoors during shoots and more. So far, the one string I've used has been great EDIT: I've now used them for three photoshoots and have yet to have them fail, so that's roughly 5 hours if I've used one of the strings for all three. Sorry, they all went back into the bag, so I don't know. I can say that each shoot lasted 2-3 hours, with the lights on the whole time. The warm color really lends itself to night photography and compliments the model's complexions quite nicely. These strings will definitely stay in my prop bag for future use!

I purchased these for an exhibit which would be up for 6 weeks. When I received them, I checked each of the lights, and was impressed by the brightness. For the exhibit, I decided that I needed 2 strings, where I planned to use 1 string. This was anticipated, based on the product image, showing a full pack of 6 in a jar. I knew that I would have to replace the batteries at some point, maybe even twice. I waited to turn the lights on, until after the gallery opened on the first day (mid-day on a Tuesday), trying to save as much battery power as possible. The lights were very strong when first turned on, but began to dim within an hour. They stayed on, but burned out by Friday. I had 12 strings to change the batteries for. Each battery pack has 4 tiny screws. Each 6-pack has a tiny screwdriver, which is 1 3/4" long. The screws were really tight, and I almost stripped each one as I tried to loosen it. You have to take each screw out completely to get to the batteries, which come out and go in easily. Then you have to screw each of the tiny batteries back in to close it. The entire process took me about 5 minutes per pack. Most of that time involved unfastening and fastening the screws. What was disappointing was that, even after I replaced the batteries (Sony brand), the bright lights again dimmed within the first hour. Each string takes two CR2032 batteries. That is clearly stated in the description. However, the short life, and need for replacing so many, so often, has made these lights completely inefficient for the exhibit, as I cannot go through and turn each of the battery packs off and on each day. I would reuse them for something that won't require them to be on for more than 24-48 hours. With that said, the lights in the exhibit are lovely. They're just short-lived. With the expense of frequent battery changes, and the time involved in changing them, they're a LOT more expensive than I planned.
