Backup For Home Network Devices.
Bought this device several years ago and it’s still working great. I use it in my garage where it is supplying power to my Amplifi router and Ethernet switch. I use the hard wired Ethernet connections for my home backup batteries and access to the internet. The garage router is also hardwired Ethernet connection to the other routers for the best reliability. I found that even though the router and switch are on a critical circuit powered by the home backup batteries the switchover time is right on the edge to keep the router and switch continuously powered. So the suspenders and belt backup works great and I haven’t had any connection problems during power outages. Since the unit is powered by the backup batteries the short time for switchover that there maybe in a power outage is amply covered by the units capacity. Very pleased with its operation. I use similar units for the other routers and WiFi extension devices on my home network. The main electronics closet is also backed up with larger APC UPS devices.

Works perfectly. I highly recommend it.
Easily connect the red wire to the battery after unpacking because its not connected during shipment; charged it for 24 hours snd then connected my cable modem and router each to a surge/bavckup port and today tested by unplugging the ups for 15 minutes and it switched to battery backup so fast my network had no clue it seitched and all my network devices stayed connected like normal. So after 15 minutes i plugged the ups back in ad it switched back to power seamless-sly.z. Very nic e product. I didn’t bother yo connect yhe usb cable to my computer, but I’m sure the ups management would work fine. Very nice product. Battery would be easy to replace if and when that would be needed. Great product !!!

Excellent Value for Homelab Servers
Purchased go to allow Linux based server to gracefully shutdown when power goes out. Uses an outdated printer style USB cable that might need to be purchased separately. Form factor is nice with plugs oriented to support transformers. Excellent value for a homelab server set up to prevent failure from power blips while allowing for automatic rebooting when the power comes back on. Purchased mine in 2019 and just now checking in 6 years later in 2025 after replacing the battery.

Worked for 2 years
I bought 4 of them. I feel that my desktops are safe. 2 was purchased in March 2021. There were several outages and surges. UPS handled it pretty well. Then in 2023 of of them just gave up. I thought it was the battery problem. I bought another one, took of the battery from new unit and connected to the one which gave up. Nope! Problem never went away. Here is the problem. Power is down, UPS doesn't switch to battery, it just shuts down output power with one continues signal (pretty annoying). If I would disconnect buttery from unit and reconnect, long beep will go away, power button is green, everything looks normal. I can connect my Desktop and and monitor (don't connect a printer) and they would run until I would disconnect UPS from power outlet (from the wall socket), then UPS would go crazy with long beep again, cutting output power. It didn't matter if battery was new or old. In fact I took out battery from this malfunctioning unit and connected to new UPS, connected Desktop and monitor, then unplugged UPS from power outlet and old battery kept running supplying Desktop + Monitor with power. So my guess something happened to PCB circuit board on older UPS during last short outage. I kept the old battery and throw the unit away. Anyway, This UPS interface shows that it will provide 180min of power for Motorola MB8600 Cable modem and Asus RT AX3000 Router connected to the unit. And 17 minutes for HP Desktop (400W)+ BenQ 24'' for second Unit. In my opinion it's important to have it. Your Desktop may have Windows updates or back up process during sudden outage and you don't wont to brick your OS if this will happen. PS Amazon sent me "New" UPS which has QC printout on unit dated by 2021. Old stock I guess. It works though. Battery keeps holding.

It simply work well and has APC’s dependability
I usually get this sort of ‘appliance’ at a local source but they were out and didn’t know when they would restock. I needed this to complete the setup and installation of an additional NAS unit on my network. I never run something as critical as a NAS without power protection and backup and unless forced into doing so, I always use APC. We used APC products when I worked in govt/military development systems and never had any problems so I was well aware of APC dependability. This little unit is the smallest they make that features an USB port for allowing the NAS and APC to communicate to orderly shutdown in case of extended power outage. Last thing you want a NAS to do is slam the door shut if the power goes out. A nice and gentle shutdown and you have less chance of issues when everything comes back on. Best of all, it’s is totally quiet …. except when it goes to backup and the alarm comes on. It will wake the dead, but that’s what I want it to do in case I’m sleeping when it happens.

Ensures internet continuity
My internet connection is critical. We have no cell service and no landline phone, so if the internet connection goes down we are cut off from the world. This little unit is perfect. It can keep my internet router powered on for hours regardless of the power issues in the house or neighborhood. This unit also provides good clean power to the router. We suffer from a lot of brown outs and poor quality power in the neighborhood and this unit acts like a line conditioner, ensuring the proper sine wave power is going to the router. This will extend the life of the router but, more importantly, it keeps the router from sporadically rebooting.

The UPS is great, been using it for over a week and throughout power outages and its been nothing but good. Its not the most powerful or not the most in battery life but its certainly enough for the average joe with their router. Its even good for a small amount of mobile power despite not being made for it, i wouldn't suggest it as you can risj damage to your unit but as for me i am careful so i am fine (i am not responsible for any and all damages made to your unit(s). Any and all careless acts carried out by you is yours and your fault only.) Ease of use is great, just connect the battery, plug it in and hit the power button. Turns right on and starts working immediately, some things to note. In the event of a long term outage, i would recommend checking in on it every now and then as the default alarm doesn't sound untie the battery is quite low. I would suggest either changing it or just checking in on it after a while. Other than that its a great little UPS and i would recommend it to others. One thing id like to see added is the ability for the ups to change the power button color depending on the SOC (state of charge) would be great to see that instead of a blinking green button till it starts beeping at you.

Excelente producto. funciona bien. Si no tiene cable de tierra de su casa o apartamento, indicador va a encender como rojo, pero no afecta la función de UPS

Exactly what I was looking for. It's now powering my home network and Internet, VoIP adapter, home security and surveillance, and being managed by a Raspberry Pi. I'm very pleased with this purchase, as it's my second APC UPS, and the first one is still going for about 20 years with periodic battery replacements.

Very happy with this one. Bought it to replace a larger Tripp Lite AVR750 unit that gave me more issues than it solved. The Good: Works great and kept my work computer and LTE internet service and router going for appx 90 mins into a power failure. Also has an audible sound to indicate when battery is getting low so you are not surprised when it gets drained. I do recommend this unit. Update: after using this for over 2 years now, it has been flawless.
