Sankuwen Waterproof Lip Liner Pencil, Pack of 12

I'm not a big fan of these lip liners. They arrived fast enough and the packaging was decent but I had some issues with them that was really disappointing even for the price.First main issue is with the colors. They are much lighter than expected when you wear them opposed to the color shown on the caps and picture. I had a really hard time matching these colors with any of the lipsticks that I own. For example the darkest brown shown in the picture (055) actually comes off as a pretty bright ruby red, and the red in the picture (058) is a light orange/red. Three of the colors (054, 046, 050) are basically identical pink colors, and 056 & 052 are also identical orange colors. There are zero tans, taupes, or browns in the set which I was expecting based on the picture. There are two colors that I will never ever use because they are bright orange which is not shown in the picture.Second main issue is with the wear. The description says they are waterproof but they smudge really easily. I was able to remove the liner by smudging it with my finger on accident. When I see "waterproof" on a cosmetic product I assume that it will only come off with make-up remover or a make-up wipe and that it won't smudge. The color really doesn't last very long at all when applied. I drank a glass of water and an hour later it was really faded. The pencil glides on really nice, its smooth and stays smooth after application but it needs a lot of touch ups throughout the day.I'm pretty disappointed because I can only really use one or two colors in this set (the darkest brown 055 for my ruby red lipstick, and the darkest pink 059 for my bright pink lipstick.) The other 10 colors are pretty much useless to me.With such a large variety of colors I was hoping to be able to use more of the colors to match what I have already.

Way too many pale nudes on the orangey side and not enough dark tones. Nothing was raisin, spice, brown or burgundy like I needed. Even that really dark looking one is just a red. It comes out just a dark red and the other one is kind of poppy. Even the one purplish one was just a blue pink. liners need to be slightly "darker" that the lipstick you intend to use and all of these were too light, too orange and too pink. I gave more than half to my 12 year old daughter and kept the darkest ones, but I still have to use a second liner. They make a nice base foundation for the lips, like a primer. so that's what I use them for. The texture is nice and creamy matte. But they aren't for the purpose I bought them for.

The product itself is great but I looked up lip liners for women of color and these colors are not dark enough for my lips. That’s why I rated 3 stars. A lot of the colors come out the same on me. I wish there was a darker color. The darkest color looks like a bright red.

This lip liners are true to the picture! But there are only maybe 4 different colors in the package, there are like 4 or 5 nice nude pinks for spring or summer.. There is one orange which I do like, and the wine cap color one is really a bright red! There is only 4 colors I like but I ran into some problems .. Although if you can get them sharpened and that's an if? They are very creamy which I love! Another problem; the makeup part wasn't long enough to use without having to sharpen and resharpen the make up in the pencil wasn't thick enough to even glide on my lips on some or a couple of the pencils; a couple of the pencils were fine, for the price they are ok! More summer and Spring colors!

Honestly, I like the colors but the pencils have no wrapping so I'm not sure if they were used or not.They are smooth and easy to use.The do not last like the description says and the color fades when you drink water, atleast it did for me.I will be returning them .I recommend these if you don't mind refreshing your lip liner every half an hr if you aren't eating or drinking .
