Perfect fly boots
Perfect fly boots. Here in Florida the bugs are out 360 days a year and my girl is ALLERGIC so staying covered and having durable clothes that last awhile is a must. These boots are perfect for our needs. She wears a small or medium on front legs (depends on which ones I grab since I have both sizes), medium on the back, fit well for height and around legs. She stomps very little, the velcro stays stuck even if wet or she has been rolling, I don't notice that they trap heat and make her legs particularly sweaty, even in the height of summer she stays comfortable. I hand wash them in the sink with a scrub brush and air dry. I'd say some of my boots are 2 or 3 years old and still work tho a little more beat up and broken in than our newer boots. Helps prevent stomping which means healthier hooves, less stress on legs and joints and soft tissues, and a happy more comfortable pony.

Great product! Your horses will thank you!
These boots work great! The flies were eating my dark colored horses legs up so I ordered these boots and I know my horses would thank me if they could. They had scabs on their legs from the flies biting them and now their legs are completely healed and no more crazy stomping. They stay on my horses, too. I have not had to hunt in the pasture for one boot.

Durable, top quality, last longer than most
Love this brand!! Longer lasting than others!!! I have tried other brands but they fall or the side โstavesโ tear out or break. These are the ONLY one that have held up for me and my other barn clients!! Pricy but I suppose you get what you pay for!!! This is the only brand I recommend!!!

Worth the money
I bought these for my horse to keep the flies off while she was getting over scratches. I was skeptical at first because they are so loose at the top. They worked like dream. In a couple days I noticed a difference and in 1weak my mare is almost completely healed. They are easy to wash and have stayed on. There is little wear at the heel, but I'm really happy with them.

Helps with flies and scratches, too.
I love the Shoofly leggins for my horse. Keeps the flies off, of course, which helps keep his feet from cracking due to stomping his feet. However, the thing I like most about the leggins is that it also keeps the mud and morning dew off his white legs. Since my horse is really prone to scratches/mud fever this is big plus! He got through last spring/summer/autumn with little to no scratches for the first time in years. It is money well spent.

Work Well to Repel Flys
I purchased my first set of these boots two years ago. After two summers the Velcro was worn out and coming loose. Not surprising given the daily use during the long fly season in NC. This purchase was a size larger than the initial purchase. The boots do collapse with wear, and legs are then not fully covered. My mare seems to be doing fine with the larger size. No problem moving or lying down. My mare is retired to pasture so not necessary to remove boots for riding. However, I frequently remove boots, hose them down and groom her lower legs.

Best Fly Boot Ever - and I've tried every known model before
Easy to apply without right or left-sided ness to worry about; single size works for all four feet; comfortable to wear with no signs of rubbing (or evidence of my horse trying to remove them with torn velcro as in the past!); easy to remove and rinse and reapply without waiting to dry as they do so quickly - there's no sheep-like fur that could get moldy; and you see Taye can move in them easily. The price is exceptional for the quality. Historically, we replaced fly boots at least annually at a much higher price - and some models twice a season. I seriously have tried every possible model of fly boot I could find looking for the right solution. Look. No. Further.

Worth the extra cost
I needed to bury leggins for both of my horses and ALMOST made a mistake and ordered less priced leggings. Reading reviews I thought I would heed notes and stay with more expensive. One of the horses at our barn has the less costly kind and the plastic rib is already sticking out after just 2 weeks. Glad I picked Shoofly, so are my horses.
