It's well made and comes with various tubes, stoppers and spare 0-rings. It was delivered quickly (next day) It seems like good value for money and looks like it will last for years and is well up to the job that I shall be using it for (removing excess coolant or oil from my vehicles) overall I'm pleased with my purchase. One thing I took on board from another buyers feedback is that removing the upper o-ring on the piston allows it move more freely while still giving good suction.

I purchased this item for my wife for Xmas as she needed something to remove the water from the saucer below the plant pot after rainfall so that she didn't have to lift the heavy plant pots each time to tip the saucers out. When the item arrived I noticed that it was jammed in the lower position. It freed but because the suction was so good it was too tight for my wife to use properly and it jammed in the lower position after been left. I took on board other people's reviews where they had greased the seals, cleaned it or sent it back for another. Cleaning or greasing does not work and a replacement will not either. I put my 30 years in the motor trade to good use and investigated why the jamming occurs. I found that either the neck of tube narrows at the bottom fractionally or the writing on the tube catches the lower seal. The seals do not swell. To cure this issue remove the bottom seal only so that the pump only works with the upper seal. Test on a sink full of water. You will find the pump operation is more free, the suction is the same with one seal and jamming no longer occurs. I hope this helps someone.

This is a good product, and has many potential uses around the home and garage. I purchased it to change the oil in my motor mower, but have since also used it to remove contaminated liquid from a car cooling expansion tank. The only issue I have with it, and why I have docked it one star, is that it comes with no instructions. Finding out the hard way that the device must be cleaned and disassembled after each use. Otherwise the device will seize and not be able to be reused!?! Hence I had to return my first device that had seized and consult utube for the reason why. The second device is fine having used it several times, and cleaning it and taking it apart after use. Could have been avoided with an instruction sheet!

It just doesnt hold the vacumn, cant suck in fluid or oil. Plus the rubber connector connecting the two plastic pipe is too huge that it may get stuck the engine oil metal tube. In terms of design, fail, quality, fail. Letting a two part tube to get into the narrow engine oil metal tube is a funny idea as the lower tube will possibly detech and its extremely hard to get it out. If u start the car the melted plastic will finish your engine This product is a total intelligence tax. This product comes with no instruction and it poses considerable risk for your client. Regardless of the potential lawsuit and public relation crisis behind, Amazon could be more considerate to review whether to allow such product on your platform. Im returning this product by the way.

Works well

To pump excess oil out of car engine this gives you hernia rather than help you. It actually comes with a 6mm od hose which is useful for drawing out excess engine oil through dipstick pipe. But good news ends there . pulling and pushing the shaft is designed by the Muppets comedy department! Even a grizzly bear would struggle. To help myself I devised Leverage solution. I used mold grips and nail pull pliers. If you lever them out together it will move the stubborn plunger and get the oil moving. It will scratch the syringe shaft but who cares it won't damaged this flawed syringe. Tools are supposed to aid you, not injure you. Id give 4 stars if it wasnt a huge struggle, which I made it work in the end. 3 stars is generous

Used it to change oil in my lawnmower, accurate measurement of fluid, solid construction with extra tube and rubber seals if required. Great value, highly recommend.

Obrukbar. Fastnar i bottenläget så att man måste ta i ordentligt för att få loss den vilket inte är så praktiskt när man slabbar med olja. Slutade med att jag använde en vanlig spruta från apoteket som fungerade mycket bättre. Den här produkten ligger nu i återvinningen.

Funktioniert sehr gut zum Absaugen von Bremsflüssigkeit und lässt sich anschließend auch gut reinigen. Das System ist dicht und es ging nichts daneben. Ob das Produkt für den professionellen Einsatz geeignet ist, kann ich nicht sagen. Es macht aber einen robusten Eindruck und sollte für meine Ansprüche lange halten.
