short circuit and burst
i don't know what protections it really has, because after over a year and a half, yesterday randomly, as soon as i plugged it in, the adapter had a short circuit, it burst open with it's cover opened up automatically and broken in pieces. so i wouldn't really be sure of the fire and surge protection, etc., in this
