I use these Hybrid brakes on three bikes. They have all been trouble free, a breeze to install and once they're on the bike you can more or less forget them.One caveat: If you are going to use the bike fitted with these brakes for anything more demanding than an easy cruise, take out the brake pads that came with them and throw them away. On long descents they will overheat and smear resin on your discs. Any Shimano-compatible "name" pads are a big improvement. I use Dyomece Multi-metallic. I ride on the street, on the sand at the beach, and fire roads and technical single track in the mountains.It appears that the hydraulics on these units are not serviceable, but my philosophy is that at these prices, if anything goes wrong with one, I'll just buy another.I paid extra for the multi-color option, and I have to say they're stunning!

These installed easily on a Lectric XP Lite & was a major upgrade. The stopping power was greatly improved.

I have only ridden 50 miles since installing these brakes. Stopping power and brake sensitivity is somewhere between mechanical disc and traditional hydraulic disc brakes. I am using these brakes on an e-bike I built, and one thing is certain, they are vastly superior to the V brakes I was using. The mounting brackets that come with the brakes are for 160mm rotors, front and rear. Happy with purchase so far.

I was surprised that they do auto-adjust. I had been fighting with the single-sided calipers for more than a year. I bolted on these calipers, made a height adjustment to get the new pads aligned with the rotor edge and off-I-go! No drag when the brake levers are released and very little travel on the levers to bind up the wheels. The stock pads seem smooth enough and do not squeak. I have not tried these on a big ride on my ebike yet but I plan to go out tomorrow on some big on-road hills.

Not as good as a full hydrolic brakes with a master cylinder.

Great for none electric bikes. Not sure about how it would work on my ebike. Of course ebikes can go much faster on the average . Would you need more stopping force on the disks? On a big box store gravel bike, works great.

Update...DO NOT BUY!! Customer service worse than product!!! if I could I would lower my rating to a negative 10 star!!! Contacted seller and advised him of everything....that the hydraulics blew just adjusting the caliper and it no longer grabbed the disc at all...he advised if it was still working okay I could just keep it as is (leaking its hydraulic fluid) or give me a 15% credit!!!! Really, a 15% credit on a brand new item that wasn’t even used yet?? Wow!! Customer service is worse than the product!!!Bought these a month ago and this past weekend had my first opportunity to install them on my bike and go for a ride. Installation was as expected. As I was adjusting the brake cable for a perfect feel, I heard a very slight “Pop”. Looked at the caliper and it was leaking hydraulic fluid and would not grip....total Garbage.

With a really mechanical feel it clamps down on both sides and delivers fantastic braking power. Almost flipped over my handle bars after jamming on them. And with a big ass 1000w unrestricted ebike motor on the back getting me to 30mph, i need stopping power and this works great 10/10
