The barge glue did not hold my shoe repair as long. It eventually gave way. I glued the soles back onto my tennis shoes. The barge glue came undone after a couple of months. Shoe goo is still holding even after 6 months! Will use it again!!!! **Q: The sole of one of my army boots has detached some 3-4 inches from the front. Would this product be useful for such a repair job?** A: Should work. I used it with leather moccasins. My brother owns a commercial repair shop. He told me about it and uses it a lot. **Q: Holes in non-leather shoe sole that is worn thru to underlying fabric -- will this fix?** A: I just fixed winter boots that I wear a lot, so haven't worn them yet. They have rubber type soles. However, I watched a Youtube video first with a skateboarder who apparently uses this stuff all the time, knew a lot about it. HE said on soles, it's a temporary fix, that it will wear off. I got the impression he was hard on his shoes, using them to brake, etc. Sorry for the vague answer... **Q: Will this work on rain boots? My rain boots cracked** A: Yes ## Frequently Bought Together - Shoe Goo - Shoe GOO 110212 Adhesive, 3.7 fl oz, Black - Boot-Fix Shoe Glue: Instant Professional Grade Shoe Repair Glue --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/296887844-eclectic-products-110011-shoe-goo-specialty-sealant-and-glue](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/296887844-eclectic-products-110011-shoe-goo-specialty-sealant-and-glue) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
