Great for cutting cardboard boxes.
I hate using razor blade knife to cut cardboard boxes. They are difficult to control even with experience. This is more like a tiny saw that goes right through cardboard just where I want.

Japanese steel knives are great. It’s nice buying something that meets your expectations.
Very sharp. Doesn’t bind. Keep your eyes on the cut. Japanese steel knives are usually very good. This one is excellent.

it does not have a Superior Edge
although this cutting tool Is very effective, and can cut boxes with Ease . This is true.It does NOT perform better than a $10 cutting knife. In fact it performs worse, and cannot Shear off box material quickly and with 1 strike, as it has a serrated edge and requires some amount of Sawing motion.

easily cut through foam
Used this to cut my mattress topper which did not quite fit. This cutter cut very easily through the foam and did not create any foam bits while cutting. Worked perfectly for my situation.

Great product!
Works better than actual scissors.The serrated edge is great when using it on the inside of corners of boxes.I use it almost daily so everything will fit inside my recycle bin.
