Original Genuine OEM Premium Blackberry Stereo Headset Headphone with Answer/end Button for Blackberry Z30 / Z10 / Q10 / Q5

I purchased the BlackBerry Premium earbuds/headset to replace the original set that came with my Blackberry Z30 which I used for over three years before using it one too many times to keep my phone from hitting the floor when it was dropped. I like them for multiple reasons; they have three sets of ear inserts where one of them is bound to fit someone to their liking, they're tangle free so I don't have to unravel them every time I pick them up, and the sound is good while lessening background noise considerably. Contrary to one reviewer's statement that there is no "end call" button just a "mute" button, the single button on the microphone pod performs multiple functions. I've used earbuds that had multiple buttons, but one button is sufficient, especially if they perform many functions. The functions this single button performs are quick press to answer a call, quick press while on a call to mute your voice then another quick press to unmute, and a long press to hang up from a call. In addition to those actions, if you're using the earbuds on a BlackBerry phone that's not locked and you're not on a call, a quick push will open your music library, (if you have music on your phone or a micro SD card), and start playing a song, another quick press will pause the song while pressing it again will resume the song. A long press when using them with a BlackBerry phone that's not locked and you're not on a call activates BlackBerry Assistant. Using any earbuds with a BlackBerry phone that has a radio player provides an antenna so that you can listen to your local radio stations. As stated above, your music library will open with a quick press of the button, playing a song while displaying the information at the top of the screen, but your radio stations will be displayed in a grid below the song information so you can choose a station to listen to if you wish. I can't speak to using them on another brand phone, but on my Z30 they sound great while on a phone call, and since my Z0 allows me to choose between three settings for use while on a call; bass boost, default, and treble boost, I can tailor the sound for my ears, so I have never had an issue hearing and understanding people on a call. The phone also has an equalizer for the music player that has eighteen settings including "off", so finding an equalizer setting that didn't suit the song that was playing while using the ear buds has never been a problem either, although I usually have it set on one equalizer setting.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Genuine Blackberry Headphones. I've been through a pair of headphones each month for the past 5 months because they are poor quality and break; but FINALLY, a really great pair of headphones! I am not a fan of the round inner ear headphones. I've tried several different pair and chose these because they were advertised as genuine Blackberry brand. The design is different and works like a gem! The shape fits PERFECTLY in the ear and it's almost as though they are magnetic because they don't fall out and are SUPER comfortable. The sound is quality is AMAZING! There is no need to have the volume pumped up with these because you'll go deaf! I am about to purchase a back up pair! *Note-I have the Z10 model.

These little earbuds are practically the only thing Blackberry has done right in the last couple years. I ditched my BB a while ago but I keep coming back to these headphones.Pros:* The sound is decent. Clear audio for spoken things like podcasts, audio books and good enough for most music.* The flat cables don't tangle* The tips are very comfortable and keep the buds in well. They don't stay as well as the over the ear sports earbuds but you can still run with them. As long as your ears fit one of the three sizes they should stay a lot better than standard earbuds* Reasonable microphone quality* The controls work on both Blackberry and Android phones. I haven't tested with an iPhone* Low sound leakage. You can hear everything clearly but you won't be "that guy" on the bus forcing everyone to listen to their crappy music.* Excellent price for this level of qualityCons:* The tips can loosen over time and come off easily. I've lost several sets.* The connection point to the phone seem weak. After 6-8 months of use the wiring inside degrades / breaks and you need to hold it just right to get sound.* Poor bass. If you want something to really thump these aren't for you. But they're earbuds. Get over the ears if you really want bass.* Low top volume. If you're looking for ear drum shattering sound keep looking.* Shirt clip just gets in the way. I usually just take it off. The microphone works fine for me without clipping.* No volume adjustmentAt the time I'm reviewing these they are around $12 with Prime shipping. In a lot of ways these can't stand up to some of the $60-100 earbuds out there but they are a fraction of the cost so I took that into consideration for my review. In particular the durabilty problems would be a much bigger deal in $50+ headphones but at this price I'm fine with replacing them a couple times per year. They are incredibly comfortable to me and the sound is perfect for what I listen to so I don't need a more 'premium' earbud.

So ear pieces work great, volume is great also people have no problem hearing me, the downfall is it doesnt have an answer hangup button like the headline states, it's only a mute button, if it didn't advertise as an answer/hangup it would be 5 stars.They did manage to make it into the washer and dryer and they still work

Cord short & it has no volume rocker. What headphones don't have volume rocker. Even cheap gas station headphones have a volume rocker. Smh..
