Schott Zwiesel Tritan Crystal Glass Forte Collection Universal Tumbler 19.1-Ounce Set of 6

Love these glasses. They seem fragile but are really strong. Easy to hold. Look good.

I needed to replace our wine glasses because several had broken over the years. There's debate in my house on whether or not one should drink wine out of stemless glasses. But since I did the shopping (and washing), I picked these. So far I like them - They don't tip as easily so I'm hoping we don't break them as quickly. And they are dishwasher safe and come out clean and clear. I think they look nice. Most of our gatherings are very casual so I think they work great. Maybe sometime we'll get proper wine glasses with stems for more formal dinners. But I really like these!

These are nice water glasses. The are quite big to hold. Would have preferred Smaller and lighter. Dishwasher safe great for daily use.

These are beautiful in appearance and easy to hold, therefore, giftable. I would add a note to the recipient that they EASILY break/shatter into pieces and slivers. I have owned other brands of Tritan glasses purchased from PB and Amazon. No breakage issues but over time 3-4 yrs, use and dishwasher cleanings (upper rack only) they began to show etchings and use. I wanted items not made in China so this well-known brand fit my requirements. I preferred the manufacturer and wanted Tritan glassware. I have owned these since the end of April 2020. I have been hand washing these as I am awaiting delivery of a new dishwasher. These are advertised as resisting breakage in addition to other positive attributes. Last night my spouse was putting the cleaned glasses away. One of the glasses fell against a coffee mug on the drainboard. The Tritan glass broke into 7 pieces with numerous shards. Wow, I did not expect this to occur. I am very surprised and disappointed. So, I would suggest these be used with extreme care (not for outdoor recreational use). I have 35 year old Waterford leaded (ugh) crystal that has withstood clinking against glass items and falling to the side onto a table without affect.I am questioning the validity of Schott Zweisel's Tritan advertising claims. I will not purchase these again.

I normally purchase a different handmade brand, but, these are very nice. Will have to see how they hold up over time. I do think they are a bit $$ considering some are not straight.
