I’d recommend this in a heartbeat. My cat who is AWFUL to get into carriers—I’m talking peed in terror last time I had to chase her down and get her into a carrier, which took ten minutes and cornering her in a closet— was the easiest of our three cats when we took them to the vet recently. She seemed comfortable and wasn’t terrified or crying while she was in it. I had no issues getting her back inside after she got her shots. I couldn’t believe it!! Apparently it’s built specifically to eliminate everything about traditional carriers that cats get so freaked out about. Her being able to see out all sides made the biggest difference, and the latch on the door is quiet so it didn’t startle her when I opened and closed it. It also seemed to help a lot that the door opening is so wide and didn’t make her feel like I was shoving her into a tunnel of doom. It’s SO easy to collapse and assemble, it can be done in less than a minute and it’s amazing how compact it is when it’s collapsed. I love that it latches shut when collapsed so it doesn’t unfold when you store it. It’s also much sturdier than I thought it would be, especially with how lightweight it is. The handle is comfortable to hold and I had no difficulty carrying it with my cat inside. It’s hard to believe the quality is so high for the price! I’ll absolutely be ordering more to replace the soft sided carriers we used for the other cats, and I will be recommending this to EVERYONE I know with cats. I can’t say enough good things about it and overall it was an incredible buy!!

This is such a genius invention. I've had the standard hard side carrier and while they are easy to clean, they are bulky to store and trying to get my cat in through the small front opening is not the easiest feat. I've also had the soft side carriers and while I like that they fold up for storage, once my cat's defecated and threw up in them out of anxiety in the car, I couldn't do anything to rid them of the smell and they had to go. I figured someone had made a collapsible hard sided one and am so glad I found this. Seriously it's genius. Not only does it fold up (and takes up about as much space as an old school brief case) and not only is it easy to clean since it's plastic but the door - oh the door. That's the real genius. A large opening in the side means your cat can walk in on their own or you can put them in easily, no need to push them in through a small opening face first or backwards, or lower them down in a top opening by their feet. This is sooo easy and my cats actually just enjoy sleeping in it whenever I leave it out - they never did that with other carriers which I think they saw as the enemy. As far as size, the smaller one is plenty big for my average size 10 pound cats (each to their own carrier). They can almost all the way stand up and plenty of room to curl up. I just put a towel down in each one for softness. Winner winner!

This is a solid little pet carrier for the price. The fold down design makes storage super convenient and the side opening is a game changer. My cat Wheezie (10 mos., 8.8lbs and long) fit very comfortably. He had no experience being confined like that, but the open side made him just walk in and lay down. The latches are secure. All in all one of my better Amazon purchases.

Perfect size for our cats. Super easy to put together takes less than a minute. The quality itself is pretty good. It opens from the front so this will make taking our cats to the vet so much easier. Didn’t even know they made carriers like this so it’s a pretty cool idea! I think it’s definitely worth the money! This seems much safer than a basic fabric carrier and much easier to clean. Overall I’d say it was designed well and will serve its purpose. Folding it down for storage is also nice! I’d recommend this.

Records from Amazon show that we purchased the Medium size in this. It is a good size; I would call it small, but either of our cats fit into it easily. Love the ways to open it. My complaint, deducting one star for it, is that at the time I checked and double-checked tom make sure a "bed" was included with it. When I received it, there was NO bed. To me, that is a deal breaker. Unfortunately I was ill at the time and didn't recover for over 2 months and wasn't able to return it. You can fold a towel or cloth to fit in it and that's what we're doing but I think these should come with the fitted bed to go inside. Otherwise, it is nice, easy to handle, to assemble and unassemble, cats are not afraid of it, and stores easily when folded up. Got it at a good price too, as always with Amazon.

Based on other reviews, I was hopeful this would at least make it possible to take my five former-feral kitties to their upcoming vet appointments. They are terrified of everything! Trips away from home, vet appointments, all seemed impossible. And God forbid we have an emergency and have to evacuate. It's been a major source of stress. Sure, I could cuff them and toss them in a cage. But that caused sooo much stress in the past, and was never guaranteed to work at any given time. They did allow me to put harnesses on them, or put them into one of those kitty bags. But they also could manage to get out (one kitty escaped outside while in a harness!). And they weren't all that comfortable in the bags. This carrier, though - wow, what a difference! Every one of them has let me place them in the carrier, no stress AT ALL. I've been able to close it up with a couple of them (still working on the others, gently). One came outside with me on the deck for an hour, and was just chillin' inside the carrier. Even more amazing - not only do they tolerate the carrier, they seem to actually like it! I've been finding their toys inside. A couple of them have gone inside to get "treats." And I've caught two of them napping inside! One of them is taking a nap in the carrier now, while I type. The true test will be whether they like the carrier AFTER the trip to the vet. But from what I've seen so far, this is nothing short of a miracle. I cannot thank the person who came up with this design enough! This literally has changed our lives.

We’ve been using this cat carrier for a few months now. We love it. Here’s why: - It’s light. The build materials are lightweight, so carrying it is easy. - It’s compact. It can fold away to fit into small spaces (e.g., under a couch, bed, etc.). - It’s stable. The triangular shape of the carrier encourages the cat to remain in the middle of the carrier, which means that the cat’s weight is balanced in the middle. This makes the carrier very easy to carry when the cat is inside. It also means that it’s virtually impossible for the cat to flip the carrier while it is inside. - It’s affordable. The price is very competitive with other carriers. - It’s easy to clean. Cleaning the case is as easy as wiping it down with a cloth and some cleaning agent. - It can be sanitized. Like other hard cases, this is easy to sanitize for two reasons. First, liquids like urine cannot penetrate the hard material of the case. Second, sanitizers only work on hard surfaces (read the fine print), so only hard cases like this can be truly sanitized. Most importantly: - The cat loves it. As soon as we got it, we put it in our living room and put our cat’s bed in it. The cat immediately laid down in it and now regularly uses the carrier for naps. It was important that our cat actually like their carrier, so this is a huge bonus for us. People with very small kittens: - Small openings in corners. There are a few small openings that a small kitten (very small, like less than 8 weeks) might try to get through. I’m not sure such a small kitten could get through successfully. But that is part of my worry: that the kitten would get stuck. (In our experience, this is not a concern with an adult cat.)

My cat hates getting in the traditional carrier. He fights tooth and nail (literally). He didn't seem to mind this carrier as much, and he almost seemed somewhat relaxed in it. I think the fact that he can see out of all the sides helps. Setting it up and taking it down was so easy and even though it is collapsible, it is very sturdy. My 13 pound cat fit in there no problem.

Very easy to put up with good simple instructions. Seems flimsy at first but once locked in place the carrier is strong. Excellent size when up, more than big enough for our medium size cat. The opening is just how it should be; no struggling to get a reluctant animal into a box or bag, and the door closes tight with one click, so simple, no stress for cat or its carer. After unpacking we put the carrier in a familiar place so cat could get used to it. She sat in it for few minutes after side stepping it for a few days, then didn't bother with it again. We've packed it away knowing the cat won't be bothered when it's used to take her to vet. Expensive but there's a cost to innovation. Recommend buy.

Best cat carrier ever. Can’t buy it here in Australia ... my veterinarian thought it was great and I got this one for a friend after mine proved such a success. Having the side that opens makes it so much easier to pop a cat in. They are in before they know it! The others I’ve used make it so difficult trying to ram a resistant kitty into a much smaller entry.

Game changer. The number of times the vet had to try and pry our cats out of their old carrier can't be counted and it always made me feel like it made the whole experience 10 times as stressful. You take them in because they're sick and then you have to physically drag them out? Felt awful. That's never going to be a problem with this. The whole side opens super easily, and I find it's easier to carry (less tippy) because the cat isn't sliding around inside. Also folding it up and storing it away is SO MUCH easier than finding somewhere to shove our old huge carrier. Also also I ordered the one with no bed but it came with one anyway so lol Now the downside.. The listing says this can carry pets up to 25 lbs. I would never test that theory. Ours are all under 10lbs and I don't know if it's a psychological thing, but I worry if it'll hold up. That said we've had zero problems so far and it made the vet less stressful.
