I did have to take the back strap in a little since he is so small. The chest strap has held up nicely with the exception of it coming unclipped twice. I attached it to him around 8 weeks old but he got out of it several times a day. I didn’t realize there is a locking mechanism on the latch part, and once I discovered that it has helped keep it on him. Mostly it’s because he is so small, and we got the size small. As he is growing it’s harder for him to get out of it. The part that goes across his chest and clips onto the apron is what seems to detach the most. The clamps aren’t quite strong enough.
