You need the wet look after using color enhance!!
โจ๏ธAnother great product from Blue Diamond! Wet look product AWESOME. I just wrote a review for the color enhance product applied to my brick fireplace, average size 3 side wrap around, mantle and load ledge. I applied the Wet Look product after dry time of sealant. Easy, fast application with brushes, 3" and narrow 1" for mortar crevaces this time. At first I applied along the grain pattern of brick, then I started going across grain, not sloppy, dabbed off excess brush capture before each brush dip. 1 quart again the right size for my job. The result was even better! Now I have a natural looking end result where color is further enhanced and the gloss is variegated. My brick is nearly dawn of time, with many textures, no illusions here. Not a glassy glossy epoxy look. Rather super clean, well cared for, intriguing color and hue with gloss. It no longer looks dusty, crushed with ash and so old we should rebuild it. So happy with the product in Colebrook, NH!โจ๏ธ to private for a picture, sorry. Not a liar, however. Gotta have this....water soluble, low odor, clean up's a breeze.

Perfect Gloss before and after pics
This worked out just perfect! The drying time was fast in my cool basement. I chose to use a sponge but you have to be very general with a sponge. I used 4 coats and it looks so much better!

Not for polished stone or tile
I wanted a product for polished stone, that would be weather proof. This wasn't the product I used for that. In the directions it clearly states DO NOT USE ON POLISHED STONE OR TILE. So I returned it and bought "CoverSeal AC250 WB Acrylic Natural Stone Sealer, Gloss Finish" it was one of 2 Products I seen good for polished stone outdoors. I give it 4 stars because I'm sure the product will look great with natural stone or brick. I can't fault them except maybe better clarification on their Amazon page.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT WHEN USED CORRECTLY!!!
When applied as directed on a stone surface the result is beyond expectations. My 15 year old slate tiled table was awful and as a last ditch attempt before calling Bulk Trash to haul it away, I coated the surface with Black Diamond Stoneworks Sealer, using an old crummy paint brush. It dried quickly and three coats turned trash into treasure! My table is BEAUTIFUL. If you have some slate that is worn splitting and dull, this is what you need. As for these other folks who did not read or use product appropriately, they are simply looking to blame a product rather than admit they did not have the right surface for Black Diamond to do its thing or did not READ instructions. This photo was taken this morning and I sealed this outdoor table six months ago. It is exposed to the elements and is clear and shiny. The sealer shows off the colors of the slate. I wish I had a before photo! Night and day.

Super easy. Used less than 2 Qts to do 3 coats on 280 sq ft patio
Since I realized my 10 yo slate tiles started to look dull, I always wanted the original colors to pop again. Recently while I was cleaning my garage I found a QT size bottle of Wet Look, which I totally forgot about. I went on Amazon and see if I bought such thing in a past and found it in my order history in 2016. I was not sure if I could still use 4 year old staff, but I decided to try it. My patio is about 280 sq ft. I pressure washed the area first. The following week after coming home from work I felt like doing the job. It was a sunny day and the ground was still nice and warm at 5:30. I put on latex gloves and knelt down, started to apply a very thin first coat with my kitchen sponge ( took me only 25 min). After an hour of drying I did the second coat ( less than 20 min), but the product ran out leaving just small area. At this point I could say the age of this product did not matter. That's it for that day. That night I ordered another QT bottle which arrived quickly. I finished the another coat ( 20 min) days later. That is total of 3 coats. There are about 1/3 of the bottle still remaining . Wet Look is like milk. I held the sponge against the mouth of the qt bottle of WL and used just a small amount coming out of the bottle at a time. I did not leave any trace of visible milky liquid when I moved onto the next tile, and after 4-5th tile the first tile was already dry to touch. During the job some woody debris fell onto the freshly treated tiles time to time, but I could easily blew them off with my breath as I continued the job. That's how thin coating it was. Shortly after the last coat was applied I went inside to clean up my hands and the sponge, then I realized that my neighbor's cat was trespassing the newly coated area. Surprisingly there was no mark left on the tile when I chased him away. The first and the last pics are after 3 coat application( sunset reflecting the color), and the middle one is after pressure washed but nothing else. I am very happy and hoping that it will last for a long time. It was the cheapest ( less than $40) and easiest patio makeover (total labor time= 1 hour). Just for your info, I am a middle age woman with no special ability in home improvement.

"Wet Look" stone, tile, slate sealer.
I applied this product as directed. The directions state to apply three coats about an hour apart, which of course the timing depends on the weather and how quickly or slowly the product dries. It was a nice calm day on which I applied the product. I made sure to keep the table out of the Sun as the instructions direct. With the first few strokes of the brush I was amazed at the difference this product made in my stone-ish table. However once the product dries it loses a large portion of its sheen or wet look. After the third and final coat-applied as directed, The table has somewhat of a sheen to it although nothing like the appearance when it's initially brushed on. If you look at the photos I've attached you could see the first two are the condition of the table and me applying some of the product in a small corner of the table. Well that initial effect was quite dramatic, but when the product dries there is much much less of a sheen left. That's fine by me I wasn't looking for a super high glossy polished table but rather something to seal the stone to keep out stains and blemishes. Overall at the end of the project I have to say I'm pleased with the way the table came out although based on the listing and the product description I was expecting more of a wet look, not that I wanted that wet look but having set my expectations based on the listing I was a bit surprised, especially given the price of this product. So if you're looking for a super high sheen I can't say that this product is it however if you're just looking to preserve and protect your stone or tile or whatever I think this product does a good job. Obviously I can't comment on durability, as I just applied the product last week but time will tell.

Travertine island and countertopโs.
Absolutely the best tile sealer I have ever used. I have travertine tile on my island and my countertops, and when it was put in a few years ago, the installer put a permanent matte finish sealer, and I hated it. So after looking at these countertops, and not liking how they looked, I decided to try to strip it off. It worked. I used the wet look. Stone works sealer and I feel like I have a whole new kitchen. It went from dull and drab to shiny and beautiful.

Very Expensive Mediocre results
I had high hopes for this paver sealer, but unfortunately, it did not live up to its hefty price tag. While the application process was straightforward, the results were mediocre at best. After just a few months, the sealer began peeling in several areas, leaving my driveway looking worse than before. To make matters worse, the coverage is far less than advertised. Sealing a standard driveway would cost a fortune, making this product far from a practical or economical choice. For such an expensive product, I expected durability and a lasting solution, but this simply isn't it. Save your money and look for a more reliable and affordable option. This sealer is a disappointing combination of high cost and low performance. I won't be repurchasing or recommending it.

Made my water stained slate look like new!
The bottom half of the walls in my natural slate shower stall were white with hard water build up that no amount of scrubbing, with various cleaning products could conquer. After a lot of research, and reviewing pictures, I chose Wet Look sealant and it restored the colour and shine of my slate. After a thorough scrub, with the tiles still appearing white, I applied 2 coats of the sealer to the walls, and 3 to the floor. The shower looks like new again and the product was very easy to apply with little odour and very little clean up required. I will use this product routinely on my slate and try it on my other natural stone floor tiles! Would definitely buy again and recommend!

Slightly darker after 3 coats. Failed to provide the deep wet look i was aiming for
A lot of negative reviews about the quality of the product, but enough good reviews that I thought it was worth a shot. We purchased 1 litre of it thinking it could do the patio we wanted to protect, but it wasn't close. a 20' x 10' patio needs a gallon of it because you will definitely want the 3 coats it recommends. 1 coat had no visible difference and dried like we applied water only. 2 coats started looking deeper and cleaner. The 3rd coat left a noticeable matte sheen that we like. The texture of the stone on your feet smoothed out quite a bit as well. Overall we were happy with the look, but it's not as much of a wet look as we wanted. We were really hoping for the stone to look how it looks after it gets rain. It's a mix of grey stones that have high contrast when wet, but similar tones dry. We liked the contrast and we were hoping this gave us that wet stone look. It does improve the look, but maybe darkened the stone 10-15% overall. Next time I will try another product to improve the deep wet look that we are after, but the product does appear to be protecting and enhancing what we have. Both the 1 litre and 1 gallon came with no leaks and of good quality.

Not cheap.
Itโs a bit expensive compared to similar products. Goes on well, and coverage is excellent. Had to buy a similar product as this is no longer in stock. Other than that, great for smaller jobs.

Good but pricey
Positives: Looks great and easy to apply. Negatives: Pricey and doesn't go very far. Will need another.
