This is a gift, I will not know if he will like it until after Christmas. It looks like a good book.

Nothing to complaint about, these are free. Reviews on this type of item are some what pointless. What is good for one person is not necessarily good for another person.

GREAT BOOK, JUST WISH IT HAD MORE MATERIAL....

My chief complaint about how to drawing books is the lack of drawings demonstrating how to do it. This book offers many easy to follow drawings plus simple explanations. By following the examples, I was able to draw several expressive faces.

Includes helpful hints on how to draw anime facial emotions, which is very important to get right!

Not worth the buy

題名によるとアニメや漫画絵の感情表現についての技法書の様です。鉛筆による下描きからペン入れ、仕上げまでの工程が、テキストと図版で紹介されています。ただ、描き方の手順は示されていますが、ざっくりした下描きからいきなりペンで線を引き始める、雑なトレース書きの様なもので作品自体もプロの水準ではないので、参考にならないと思います。テキストが読めれば参考になる事も書いてあるかも知れませんが、そうでない場合は他の技法書をお勧めします。
