Légère Reeds, Alto Saxophone, Classic, Student Synthetic Reed (AS200)

My son plays the alto saxophone in the jazz band. I have saved a significant amount of money by using this product instead of traditional wooden reeds. The reeds typically last approximately five to six months, allowing us to use two per academic year. I highly recommend this product and am grateful for its utility.

Nice full sound. A bit too soft as compared to other brand.

Helps strengthen my embouchure. I’ve only been playing the saxophone for 1 1/4 yr. I use a Legere for my warm-ups, but my embouchure isn’t strong enough yet Tomplay a tune with it. Having said that, these reeds last for months.

Great reed. Slightly stiffer than I expected for a 2. That being said tone is phenomenal and intonation is spot on through the entire range. The response is also very uniform. Overall great product

I like the plastic reeds, in a size 2.0 or 1.5 because it is easier to play, the plastic doesn't chip or split like the wood ones.

Love these reeds. Playing an alto saxophone in church, you take breaks in between playing quite often. It is great not having to worry about reed moisture with these. The only reed I really play anymore

These reeds are so fragile. The smaller the numbers of the reed get, the less they really sound like wood. I wasn't too happy with the sound of this reed, very comparable to fibracell #2.5. It is easy to blow through, and pretty loud, but it sounds more mid tones (harsh), than their #3.5 studio cut reeds.

Es la segunda vez que compro una Legere por Amazon y así como en tienda siempre ha sido totalmente previsible e igual la dureza, en esta plataforma he tenido la desagradable experiencia de en 2 ocasiones encontrarme con una dureza muy superior a la marcada. He estado tocando solo con Legere más de 2 años, pero he vuelto a las cañas de madera, mucho mejor sonido y vista la fiabilidad de Legere, que era el único punto fuerte que les veía… ya no tengo dudas. No merecen la pena las cañas sintéticas. Muy caras para que te salgan mucho más duras y no las puedas usar. Mi experiencia en los últimos años es muy negativa en cuanto a la variabilidad de la dureza de las cañas.

Trés bonne anche pour les débutants, son consistent et facile à l'entretien. J'ai pris la classic car moins chère que la signature. Le packaging est à revoir, trop fragile, il était complètement écrabouillé quand je l'ai reçu.

Ho acquistato la 2, ma non è dura coma la Vandoren 2,5. Diciamo che sta nella via di mezzo (2,2-2,3) Per tale motivo successivamente ho comprato anche una 2,5. Subito pronta all'uso e costante. Consigliata
