for handicapped wife, but she rarely needs or uses it

I like the height, simplicity, and ability to easily and securely attach to porcelain toilet. However, if elderly gentleman has difficulty seeing and can’t direct stream of urine into toilet bowl, urine drips down front of riser and seeps under it. No easy way to clean rim of toilet because riser sits flush on the bowl and is screwed tightly so it doesn’t lift for cleaning. Vibe does make a riser that can also be used with existing toilet seat and has the benefit of being hinged so despite the riser being screwed to the toilet, the seat can be lifted to clean the rim underneath. Much better idea for hygienic purposes.

We have ordered so many raised seats but none of them ever seemed to work right. This is the only one that worked for my mom. The locks are on the side which is perfect. Will be ordering a second one for her other bathroom. Awesome product.

Had to replace my old one as one of the screws that hold the seat to the loo broke off, leaving it unstable.A raised seat (with a lid. Never flush with the lid up!) is a must-have for me; with 2 artificial hips and one artificial knee, it's a struggle to use a normal, low-level loo. This 'Drive' loo seat is a better design than my old one and therefore much easier to keep clean. The lid is lightweight and has a handy 'lip' to lift it. Very sturdy in use, easy to fit and comfortable; I'd definitely buy another one, if and when the time comes to replace it.
