This is in no way sharp enough to score bread dough effectively. Completely rubbish.

This product has received mixed reviews - some good - some awful. Now I know why. The blade itself hasn't been sharpened properly. Only the last cm has seen a sharpener and that looks as though it was done by a rank amateur. So the net result is that it can't slash the dough.Will I return it? Probably not as I shall attempt to sharpen it myself - and will buy another one that uses normal razor blades for very little extra.Strongly recommend any other product except this one if you want to slash the top of a loaf.

As described, well made and functional. Packaging could have done with some padding as item could be easily damaged in transit.

It is not very substantial and very blunt. It doesn't cut the dough at all and I am better off using my Sabatier knife again.
