I needed a knee brace that had more support than my drugstore one. This one only cost a few dollars more, yet is WAY more engineered and provides lots more support. Plus, they come in a wide range of sizes, not just two sizes to fit everybody. The side boning is fantastic - very supportive for side-to-side stability, yet it is also very flexible so you can still bend your knee for climbing. Another huge plus is the nude color. No way this will be invisible, but it looks SO much better than anything in black or white. The open patella was essential for me. I can't wear braces with compression over the patella. I do wish the patella opening was a little cushioned at the edge, but it's not uncomfortable and for the price it's an outstanding brace.Re sizing, I measured my leg carefully several times and it said I was an XS. When it arrived, I could barely get it up my leg and it squeezed everything super tight. So I returned it and got a S, and it fits wonderfully. It's snug as it should be, but not so tight it's uncomfortable. So if you're on the fence about size, my advice would be to size up.

This product does not roll down but it did slide down on my leg. I would wear knee socks to prevent this from happening. I'm a larger woman and getting a knee brace with a perfect fit is difficult. It's lightweight and allows my skin to breathe. I have used it on the skate floor and it worked wonderfully for me.

This is exactly the type of compression support that my orthopedist recommended (must have stays !)I wear this to support my knee, which has lost a lot of cartilage, every day.

I have tried numerous braces to support my bone-on-bone knee. This is my favorite for two reasons. It gives the best support without being too restrictive or uncomfortable and the flesh color blends in well and doesn't show through my clothing.

This braces gives good support without restricting my movement. Finally a good brace I can dance in.

This is an awesome knee brace. I have a larger thigh and the xxx-large does not bind at all and feels great for the added support. The seller I got it from was very great in shipping and got it too me right away.

This knee brace would be great if it didn't roll down.

This is a simple but effective knee brace that is more comfortable to wear for longer periods than many similar products that cost much more. It works well for bicycling, even for hours at a time. The only drawback is the above-knee and below-knee sizing metrics, which really do not help select the proper size. I am not a big person, nor am I overweight, but I found the "Large" a bit too constricting. An X-Large worked just about perfectly. I would advise men to purchase a size larger than the metrics advise.
